Project Overview
In the Year 200X, the future is about to be built as Famed Roboticist Doctor Thomas Light is about to unveil his most ambitious Project yet: The Robot Masters Project. A Series of Robots carrying Light’s patented Hyper-Advanced AI that mimics Human Consciousness, all designed and built to assist humanity in different tasks, as the first step in creating not just a Better Tomorrow, but a Perfect Tomorrow. But when Light’s Robotics Partner, Doctor Albert Wily, reprograms the Robot Masters to become destructive and evil out of his own jealousy and ego, all seems lost. That is, until Rock, one of Doctor Light’s Helper Robots and Son, offers himself up to become upgraded into a Super Fighting Robot, who will be able to stop the Robot Masters and save Humanity from Wily. His name? MEGA MAN!
Mega Man: The Comic Dub is a Fan-Made Dub of the official series of Comics created by Archie Comics based on the Mega Man Video Game Series by Capcom. The 14 Characters available to audition for are characters appearing in the series fourth Story Arc: Spiritus Ex Machina, an original story arc

One of the geniuses leading the world’s future, Doctor Mikhail Cossack keeps collected at all times. Cossack is the founder and lead roboticist of Cossack Robot Laboratories, based in Russia, where he is one of the top figures in the Robotics world alongside Doctor Light and Doctor Lalinde. He is a good friend of both, meeting Doctor Light when he travelled to America for his thesis. Cossack is very calm and collected, not one prone to outbursts, and even in anger, keeps a cool head, seeming to think logically about what he does. In spite of that, he is also a very warm character, acting as a devoted father to his daughter Kalinka, and seeing the value in connections made between humans and robots emotionally, showing that he’s got both a big head and big heart. I need an actor who can show off Cossack’s warmth alongside his intelligence and logic
I am looking for a medium to medium-low pitch for Doctor Cossack, and for him to talk very intelligently most of the time, yet still able to show that emotional vulnerability and warmth he has, as well as having some slight grit to his voice. Whilst Cossack is from Russia, a Russian Accent is not needed, though you may attempt one should you want to

(Confronting the Emerald Spears on the validity of Robot emotions and personalities being manufactured, still collected but stern) “Are they any less genuine than our own, crafted through a lifetime of experiences? Is our love for our creations any less real, whether they have a pulse or a motor? Even a monster like Doctor Wily cares for his creations…”
The daughter of one of the world’s leading Robotics Scientists, Kalinka Cossack is wide eyed and innocent. Kalinka is the daughter of Doctor Mikhail Cossack, who ends up tagging along with him to the A.R.T.S. Convention where she meets Doctors Light and Lalinde and their creations, becoming friends with them. Not being a robot with an advanced AI, Kalinka is the character who most acts like a real child out of the child-aged characters, being generally very happy and positive whilst also being easily distressed and upsettable due to her childlike nature, as well as very impressionable, and will typically look to others for help when she feels distressed. She also has a kinship with Cossack’s Robot Masters, namely Pharaoh Man, seeing him as a loyal guardian figure or even a big brother. I need an actor who can convey her childlike innocence in all ways
I am looking for a high to medium high voice for Kalinka. Whilst Kalinka is from Russia, a Russian Accent is not needed, though you may attempt one should you want to

(Hiding with Roll after a terrorist group has hijacked the A.R.T.S. Convention, calling her dad quietly over the phone, completely terrified and on the verge of crying) “Poppa! You picked up! Are you okay?... I’m fine. I’m hiding with Roll…”
Pharaoh Man is one of the Robot Masters created by Doctor Mikhail Cossack, built for use in excavation and navigation of ancient temples and tombs, with many different abilities and features to help him in that, and is the most prominent of Cossack’s Robot Masters to appear in the comic. Pharaoh Man initially comes off as a stoic figure, what with his voice and appearance, one who could potentially be hard to approach, yet reveals himself to have a softer side and a bit of a snarky attitude at times, and like the other good Robot Masters, as someone who strives to protect others at all times. I need an actor who can sell the stoic big guy vibe whilst also breaking from that at times
I am looking for a medium-low to low pitch for Pharaoh Man, I picture him having a deep, bassy voice and for him to talk formally most of the time, though occasionally slip into more casual talk

I’m built with the speed and agility needed to avoid the ancient traps, and enhanced optics to navigate the gloom… which you need to copy, apparently. Did Dr. Light not outfit you with Proximity Awareness?”
(Talking to Elec Man after both were tormented by the Emerald Spears terrorists, Elec Man wishing for his Wily programming back in frustration, as Pharaoh Man tries to ground him again, showing a sympathetic side) “Don’t say that. I don’t know what I’d do if Wily reprogrammed me… just cool your circuits for now”
One of the geniuses leading the world’s future, Doctor Noele Lalinde is stricken with grief. Lalinde is a robotics scientist working for Geoworks International, who creates her own Robot Masters for the betterment of mankind. She was a colleague of Doctors Light and Cossack back at Robot University, with potential romantic feelings harboured for Doctor Light. After her time at University, she created Tempo Lalinde, or “Quake Woman”, a Robot Master designed for geological surveying, but who was also similar to Rock and Roll as she acted as a daughter figure to Dr. Lalinda. However, Tempo ended up being gravely hurt by a cave-in whilst working and Lalinde, to help ease the heartbreak, took Tempo’s personality away, believing that the pain that could come from a similar incident happening again would be diminished if she viewed Tempo as more of a “Tool” than a daughter, though it’s revealed she’s always seen Tempo as her daughter even after this. After Tempo’s personality change, Dr. Lalinde becomes a staunch advocate against personalising advanced robotics for this very reason, debating against Doctor Light on the very subject at the A.R.T.S. Convention. Dr. Lalinde is incredibly smart and eloquent, similar to Doctor Light, and frequently appears that way, yet her trauma and emotions can make way in certain scenarios. I need an actor who can portray Dr. Lalinde’s intelligence yet also the trauma and pain she hides deep down.
I am looking for a Medium-Low voice for Dr. Lalinde, she needs to have a deep voice, and much like her colleagues, speak quite intelligently generally.

Processing Data is one thing. Any calculator can do that. Why should we strive to make the calculator THINK about the meaning of its numbers? Why do we need to have them act like they FEEL good about a computation well done?”
(Talking to Xander Payne, leader of the Emerald Spears terrorist group, after he claims that she was also against Advanced Robotics, causing Lalinde to remember the incident with Tempo, beginning to get emotional) “I was voicing CAUTION…over making it so that we can have deep, emotional connections with our creations. So that when we design a robot to do the jobs too dangerous for humans, and when those dangers take their toll, we lose tools and not… and not sons and daughters… I thought it would ease the pain *sniff*, but she’s still “Tempo” to me, still my little girl, and she’s in danger!”
One of the new Robot Masters changing the world, Tempo Lalinde is a shell of what she once was. Tempo, or “Quake Woman”, as her official Robot Master title reads, was created by Doctor Noele Lalinde and built both as a Robot Master for geological surveying, as well as a surrogate daughter to Dr. Lalinde. However, one day whilst working, Tempo suffered grave injuries in a near death experience due to a cave in, and Doctor Lalinde, in an effort to ease her heartache, took away Tempo’s unique personality, believing that the pain that could come from a similar incident happening again would be diminished if Lalinde viewed Tempo as more of a “Tool” than a daughter. Thus, Tempo is, at the beginning, a robot of few words and one who speaks less emotionally than other Robots, however after the A.R.T.S. Convention, Dr. Lalinde restores her personality and, throughout the comic, she goes throughout a gradual process of restoring her personality, being an eloquent speaker who’s still adjusting to her feelings, yet someone who can become quite emotional, specifically to traumatic events that remind her of the cave-in, resulting in her occasional panic attacks. I need an actor who can portray every aspect of Tempo
I am looking for a medium to medium-low pitch for Tempo, and I want her to speak quite emotionless and artificial, something like Siri, yet later in the series, becomes a bit more of an eloquent speaker occasionally overcome by traumatic emotions

I have discerned the proper frequency needed to disable the components without setting off the bomb. Disabling one now.”
(Quake Woman trapped under rubble alongside various other Robot Masters and the doctors, explaining her method of disarming the bomb, speaking formally, yet a bit of emotion coming out near the end) “I will attempt to vibrate the components apart as with the others. Everyone else should leave… in the event it goes off.”
(In a later story, Tempo is having a panic attack after falling into Icy Caverns, giving her traumatic flashbacks to her Cave-In incident, talking to Mega Man about how he’s faced dangerous situations before, sounding utterly distressed) “You’ve faced, I’ve EXPERIENCED. I was buried. Crushed. Destroyed. Mom took it all away. Then I was STILL dead, only inside. Now I function, but I remember… What if I lose myself again? What if I’m damaged and mom changes her mind? Roll wants me to experience ‘Romance’, but all I know is… fear.”
The leader of the Emerald Spears, Harvey Greenleaf is all about peace and love, man. Harvey is the leader of the Emerald Spears’s operation on the A.R.T.S. Convention, giving out orders and personally getting involved with the doctors themselves in order to carry out the goal of him and the Spears, of bringing an end to advanced robotics. Despite being the head of this terrifying organisation, Harvey himself puts up a fairly friendly front, being relaxed most of the time and talking like a stereotypical hippie, yet don’t get it mistaken, he is devoted to ending Advanced Robotics, though he specifically believes in educating the people and making them see his perspective, as to “save” them from the oncoming threat of robotics, coming off as quite naive when confronted with actual counterarguments to his beliefs. I need an actor who can portray an easygoing kind of guy like this, whilst also presenting someone with firm beliefs.
I am looking for a medium to medium high voice for Harvey, and he talks like a stereotypical hippie, m’kay?

I’m here with a plan, man, a VISION. You three’re gonna help me see it through, ‘cause tonight… you’re gonna help me bring an end to the future of Advanced Robotics!”
(Harvey shouting at fellow Emerald Spear Xander, fully putting his beliefs out there, dropping the easygoing schtick and going serious) “Will you stop with the violent posture?! We’re about PROTECTING the people from themselves. We’re still gonna destroy the Robots, but don’t forget the big picture, man. We’re here to change MINDS. So mellow out while I deal with the lab coat-types, m’kay?”
The REAL leader of the Emerald Spears, Xander Payne will stop the Robot Uprising at all costs. Xander Payne is a member of the Emerald Spears who joins the group after an incident during Wily’s Robot Master Attacks, where as a soldier, Elec Man’s rampaging causes him to lose his eye, getting a robot prosthetic in the process. This event kickstarted Xander’s complete obsession with destroying the Robots and those who create them, believing Robots will bring nothing but ruin to the world and that the monsters who created them must be killed. He also has no patience for half measures, and ends up overthrowing Harvey and taking over the operation due to his utter frustration with Harvey’s leadership, not willing to entertain any kind of compromise with Robotics Scientists, people he deems as irredeemable. I need an actor who can sell Xander’s utter contempt for robots and everyone who supports their continued existence
I am looking for a low to medium-low pitch for Xander, very gruff and growly voice, like a hardened veteran who’s seen it all, with Xander speaking with conviction alongside wild ambition and rage

You CAN’T! Not with people like this! Their creations did THIS to me, and they claimed it wasn’t the Robots fault! You told me when we organised this, we would ELIMINATE them along with the Robots! Set back their movement for years by removing their top thinkers!”
(Xander talking to fellow Emerald Spear Simone about setting off the bombs potentially killing people, Xander unflinching in his views) “And more WILL die if the Robot Revolution isn’t stopped HERE AND NOW! There will always be more people, but ONLY if the Robots are stopped!... we have to save humanity from itself. Whatever it takes!”
A member of the Emerald Spears, Theo Payne is loyal to the bitter end. Theo is the younger brother of Xander Payne, member turned leader of the Emerald Spears, being the one who initially helped Xander after his eye injury at the hands of Elec Man, joining the Emerald Spears alongside his brother and his wife Simone. Despite how aggressive and confrontational his brother is, Theo is actually fairly reasonable. All things considered, he’s just kind of a normal person, an “average joe”, if you will. He’s just incredibly loyal to his brother and wants to help him out, leading to him assisting Xander in the Emerald Spears’ villainous actions. I need an actor who can portray a seemingly normal and loyal person led astray
I am looking for a medium pitch for Theo, and he just kind of talks like a normal, kind of eager person, not much to say

(Theo trying to reassure Xander and psyche him up after he doubts if the A.R.T.S. Convention heist can be finished, supportive and loyal) “Don’t worry, bro! With your smarts, and us behind you, we’ll get this done! You’ll see! The Robots will be destroyed and…uh… too much?”
(Theo responding to Simone during the action, her trying to convince him that they can just walk away from all this, Theo refuting, feeling bad about it but also feeling a sense of responsibility) “”I… can’t do that. Xander is my brother. He was always there for me when we were kids. He needs me now.”
A member of the Emerald Spears, Simone Miller is devoted and a little screwed up. Simone is the wife of Theo Payne, and joins The Emerald Spears terrorist group alongside her husband and his brother. Before this, however, Simone had a history with Rosalyn Krantz, the two both attending the Police Academy before Simone violated regulations and Rose reported her as guilty, causing Simone to flee the academy with a feeling of betrayal in her heart, joining the Spears to “Make a difference in her own way”. Simone is a lot more loyal to the Emerald Spears objectives, compared to her husband who does it out of loyalty, though that’s one of the reasons she loves him. She’s also shown violent tendencies and has a lot of contempt towards Rosalyn Krantz. I need an actor who can portray her loyalty to the Spears and Theo.
I am looking for a Medium voice for Simone, she sounds fairly normal, much like Theo, though she can lose her temper when provoked the proper way

(Simone shouting in a confrontation with Rose, venting out her frustrations to Rose whilst holding her at gunpoint, her contempt and aggression coming out) “ENOUGH! YOU were the one who reported me. YOU ruined everything! And now I’VE found a NEW way to make a difference!”
One of the Third Generation Robot Masters, Magnet Man is here!! Magnet Man was the first of the Third Generation to be created under the collaboration between Doctor Wily and Ra Moon. Having the power to control magnetism and shoot magnetic projectiles, Magnet Man is loyal to both his masters and ends up being a player in the series for a while, sticking by Dr. Wily’s side until his inevitable battle with Mega Man later in the comic

(Magnet Man following his orders and leading the other Third Generation Robot Masters to work on the next Wily Castle) “He’s right - That castle isn’t gonna build itself. The Doctor will have further orders for us there”

A Robot Master who came before all others, Shadow Man has shaky allegiances. Shadow Man is an old Robot Master from thousands of years ago who originates from an interstellar alien line of Robot Masters known as the Kuiper Droids, who were all allegiant to their master, Ra Moon. However, in a battle with their enemies, The Star Marshalls, all of the Kuiper Droids died with the exception of Shadow Man and Ra Moon, both landing on earth in the Lanfront Ruins thousands of years before modern civilization. However, cutting to the modern day, both Ra Moon and Shadow Man are resurrected by Dr. Wily, but unlike the other new Robots, he has no allegiance to Wily, only serving Ra Moon and being a robot bound by honour, believing in Ra Moon’s cause and serving it no matter what. I need an actor who can portray Shadow Man’s loyalty

(Shadow Man after being defeated by Wily’s other Robot Masters, begging for death) “Finish it! I failed Ra Moon! I have no purpose! End my shame!”
So ancient and yet so advanced, Ra Moon is an indescribable evil from beyond the stars. Not much is truly known about Ra Moon, only that he is a super computer of extraterrestrial origin who ended up landing on earth thousands of years before the birth of modern civilization. From the Lanfront Ruins, he observed the humans of ancient times and realised humanity could not progress any further without him, and thus, believed they should be exterminated. He sat in wait for thousands of years, before being found by Doctor Wily, and rejuvenated, working as a factory to create Doctor Wily’s new line of Robot Masters and build up an army of robots to exterminate humanity. Ra Moon’s motives are completely unknown, in fact, so much about him is unknown, but that brings with it terror. He cannot compromise, he cannot be negotiated with, he has one singular goal: Wipe out humanity. And he will not stop until that is achieved. I need an actor who can portray Ra Moon’s malevolence and superior intelligence compared to every other being on earth
I am looking for a low pitch for Ra Moon, an incredibly low pitch, a true baritone, and he does not emote much in his speaking, representing both his focus on achieving his goals and his true detachment from humanity (Basically Galactus from Marvel)

(Ra Moon betraying Dr. Wily after using him to create a Robot Army, explaining his plan, completely and utterly focused on his purpose) “Your designs are now MY army. Your Wave Projector will send my influence across the world. As I predicted, humanity has provided for it’s own destruction. I will shut down the technology on which your species has become so dependent. All I will leave them in their desperation are their guns and explosives. Humanity will tear itself apart as it struggles to survive. And in the weeks to come, my electromagnetic field will become potent enough to destroy any survivors”
(Yes, this is Proto Man)
Dr. Light’s original creation, Break Man is truly broken. Blues was the first ever Robot created by Dr. Light, with assistance by Dr. Wily, and was built similarly to his future robotic children Rock and Roll, with combative functions whilst also having the mind of a boy, despite being built via contract from the Military. Whilst initially being an optimistic boy, a combat demonstration revealed Blues was built with an imperfect power balancer, which would have to be fixed. Blues overhears Dr. Light talking about the fix potentially taking away Blues’ personality, later on also overhearing Light talk to Dr. Lalinde about it, joking that it would be easier to rewrite this rebellious streak out of him. To Blues, this was utter betrayal, and the robot ran away from home, a hatred for Light now born, and with no home, Blues became somewhat of a wandering Superhero as his power depleted. As his power almost ran out, Blues decided to see if he could go back to Dr. Light to get himself fixed, optimistic that Light would take him back, only to find Light with Rock and Roll, believing he had been replaced, running away with even more hatred for Light, going all the way to the Lanfront Ruins to use its technology disabling energy to put him out of his misery. For a while, he lay there in suspension, until he was found by Dr. Wily and revived, pledging allegiance to Wily and gaining the Robot Master Title of “Break Man”. Blues is a very enigmatic figure, appearing and disappearing, typically loyally serving Dr. Wily with a vendetta and contempt for Light, Mega Man, and Roll. He’s a confused figure, not knowing who he is or what he’s meant to do, something he’ll discover throughout the comic. I need an actor who can sell both the competence and skill of Blues, whilst also showing what a truly, truly broken character he is
I am looking for a medium low pitch for Blues, sounding a bit older than Rock and Roll, given that he’s somewhat of an older brother to them, and he is always straight to the point and stoic when talking, yet can have emotional outbursts if certain nerves are hit

(Blues monologuing to himself at the beginning of a flashback dedicated to him, ruminating on his history up to this point, determined in his belief that he will live his life as he wants to) “I am Blues. The first creation of Dr. Thomas Light. His first… son. I am dying. The Power Core in my chest is flawed. I’m living on borrowed time. Doctor Light planned to change it… planned to change me. He could not, or WOULD not, guarantee that I would remain intact. Me, myself, I. So I have gone to live what’s left of my life on my own terms. I would rather die tomorrow as Blues than live forever as someone else”
(Blues seeing Dr. Light for the first time in years after he ran away, giving him the cure to Ra Moon’s EM Waves, bitterness and resentment still in his voice) “This isn’t how it was supposed to be. Any of it… Here, this will protect your new kids. I’m sure you’ve got a REPLACEMENT computer somewhere that can read this…”
(Blues confronting Tempo, asking her about her relationship with Dr. Lalinde after Lalinde took her personality away and how she possibly justifies still staying with the doctor, Blues is projecting a lot of his own feelings here and getting angry) “I know that YOU know what she did. Why are you STILL here? She rebuilt you without restoring the part that was YOU! HOW CAN YOU BE SURE SHE RESTORED YOU?! Why do you trust her to do that? Why aren’t you out there, creating an identity for yourself?”
Whilst this Project already has 3 Video Editors on board, there's still quite a bit to do with something like this, so another Editor coming onto the Project would help a lot
I need someone who is experienced in moving and or manipulating images and text, as well as Sound Design
