Project Overview
Maverick follows three brothers who are a part of a poorly funded, (more or less) secret spec-ops team made up of themselves, a "Jack of all trades" mechanic and a grumpy commander. They get the job done but with a bit of resourceful flair, idiocy and dumb luck; to them, each mission is more of a performance and while they haven't seen many big jobs recently, they're about to uncover a few secrets that will lead them to question their job and allegences.

Hawkins is the commander of this bootleg group. He is generally in a terrible mood and takes his anger and frustration out on the brothers by sending them on missions and reaping the majority of the rewards. He can be very whiny at times.
He should have a deep, smooth voice that comes off well as angry and intimidating.
I listed the role as a Young Adult but he is somewhere in between that and Middle Aged. In any case, he should sound older than the brothers.
So we take them out! Get rid of the problem completely.

Michael is the leader and oldest brother of the three. He has a leader's personality, taking everything into consideration and making well informed and tactful decisions. He is, however still an older brother and naturally they all pick on each other and joke like brothers do.
He needs to sound confident but still approachable and like he enjoys having fun.
*Some leader roles fall into a stigma of being loud and bossy and give off the 'aroma' of "what I say, goes." That's not how Mikey rolls :P
Whelp, One down! Let’s see if we can wrap this up in time for dinner. Conrad, you got a situation analysis?
Conrad: They have a wall. (Disinterested)
Michael: That’s observant... Do they ALSO have a door?
Hey Boston... (leave pause) Sick em!
Conrad is the 2nd oldest brother and lacks a lot of patience. He has a tendency to be disinterested in the situation at hand unless it involves shooting a gun. He can be pretty sarcastic and quick-witted.
His voice should be a little deep and he will usually sound either bored/disinterested, grumpy or sarcastic.
EDIT: Many people are sounding overly angry with Conrad's lines. He is not someone who yells, he is grumpy and gruff, not a drill seargent.
I mean… That’s gotta be a record, right?
Jackson: Now who are your partners in crime then? The brains and the brawn?
Michael: Well.. you’re half right…
Boston: you don’t think Conrad’s pretty strong?
Michael: Right, I was referring to him…
Conrad: I could flex for you if you’d like..
I think I’ll go sleep for a bit. I swear tho… if Webb has that radio blastin’ in the barracks again, I’ll kindly shove it down his throat.
Loki is snarky and highly mischievious, a good counter-part to Jay. He is very matter-of-fact, lacking a conscience to remind him of when something should be said or not. Like Conrad, he loves to be sarcastic. I feel as though he should be like Sherlock holmes from Sherlock on BBC and have the intonation of Jarvis from Iron Man w/o the english accent. He is highly intelligent, very observant and loves to be clever, showing off how much smarter he is than others but almost in a way so that people don't even notice his lack of being humble.
He has a higher voice, remeniscent of Guilty Spark from the Halo canon. talks with confidence and can be a little bit cold, logical and calculating at times.
Jay: *small chuckle. What’ve YOU been working on?
Loki: Let’s see… I’ve run some diagnostics, perused a few cat videos... Oh! And I used your credit card to get a subscription to the Silicon of the Month Club. (small pause) again.
Jay: Wonderful… What’s this month’s?
Loki: Playa Mexicana!! (said with a slight, mocking hispanic tone)
Jay: Mexican Beach?
Loki: Si! I believe it’s an allusion to the fact that beach sand can contain Silica, or Silicon Dioxide. I assume this silicon must come from a beach of Spanish origin containing sand with a concentration of siO2.
Another pause as Jay attempts to take in what he just heard before realizing he doesn’t care.

Jay: Anything come up in the diagnostics check?
Loki: Yes actually. It appears our communications are down.
Jay: And that didn’t seem like something you needed to share before?
Loki: Eh. You didn’t ask before.
Boston is the youngest brother and is sort of an unpredicable, happy-accident. Everyone tends to ignore him because he, at first glance, comes off naive and loud. If people would listen to him, they would realize that he sees things differently, not holding everything to logic, allowing him to create solutions where no one else can.
He should sound generally upbeat, energetic and naive; he may have a little bit of ADD.
In the moments when no one seems to be listening, he has been known to become introspective and actually ask some pretty deep, meaningful questions. However, these tend to go unnoticed and he shrugs it off, suddenly more interested in the butterfly that flies past his face.

Michael: So what have you found so far?
Jay: A suspicious amount of high-level encryption crap. Especially for a team of our pay grade..
Boston: (ignorant) We get paid?
*Boston pulls out a shotgun, calmy clears his throat, takes a deep breath, and then does a war cry as he runs through a bunch of people, taking shot after shot.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhh!!!!!!
(do the throat clearing, deep breath and then your best, throaty yell. Not a scream and not a growl)
Jay is almost anything you need: A mechanic, engineer, medic! He works really hard and is always busy fixing something Boston blew up. He is a rather friendly, intelligent individual but is also known to be introverted. He has no problem talking or confronting people but would always choose to be alone with Loki, his AI creation, if given the chance. Loki is a smart AI who helps keep Jay sane by handling some of the workload and maintenance.
Jay's voice should be smooth, pretty laid-back and easy going. When he is in a situation where he is thinking really hard, he talks more to himself, quickly in a more hushed, mumbling tone.
LOKI: So… How’d their mission go? (Mock interest) *said as he starts busying himself with other things
Jay: Nothing special. I can tell they’re tired though; Hawkins hasn’t given them any time to rest.
Loki: They’re tough.
Jay: Everyone’s battery has to die at some point. Think you could relate to that :p
Loki: Oh yes, I love when you make it relevant. Where would I be without you? (sarcasm)
