After much thought I've made this project a visual novel, so that it will be completed much faster then an actual animation.

Project Overview
⭐About “Luke's Adventure” ⭐
Luke's Adventure is an Adventure, Slice Of Life Themed story about a boy named Luke whose world is turned upside down when he finds a magic mirror that lets him travel through Alternate Universes.
This story is inspired by Toilet Bound, Luca, and Harry Potter.
This will contain some debatably heavy themes, If you're not comfortable with this stuff please don't audition.
Mild violence/reference to violence
LGBTQ+ characters and relationships
This project is a type of game called a 'visual novel' or VN for short. It will be available to play on itch.io for free for a time and then after a year or so it will cost $2.99 to play. The character profiles are currently made with an app called Gacha Club.
This is a short- term commitment, there will be only be one video.
These are likely not lines the characters will say, but more accurately what they would say that displays their personality. Remember to put emotion into the lines; make it believable.

🎙Audition Guidelines🎙
Please send all auditions in either .mp3 or .wav format with no background noise.
Must have a decent mic. XLR Mics are highly preferred, but USB mics are fine too. If you could write what mic you have, that would be great!
Please no more than 3 takes per line.
Do NOT edit your audio aside from normalization, compression, and/or noise reduction.
No pitch changers!
Feel free to include any extra demo reels or links/extra information in your audition description. (resumes, past work, etc.)
You must have Discord as that will be our main form of communication, so add your username and tag in the description of your audition.
💲Payment 💲:
Voice Actors: $10 -$5, all transactions will be through Paypal. If you don't have Paypal, you will not be paid.
Sprite Artist: $25, all transactions will be through Paypal. If you don't have Paypal, you will not be paid.

Project Back On Track
As stated in the above Update, the project was going to be cancelled for some time, but I'm made a choice that I think will get the project back on. This is now going to be noticeably shorter, AKA, it will take less time to make. This is also gonna be a type of animated short. >10 minutes. Iris will have more lines, and I'll also add another female character, with the payment being $5 as they are a very minor character. Chances are, I will voice her myself, but if I stumble across an amazing audition I may reconsider. After a lot of thinking I decided not to shorten the budget and keep the payment the same. Admittedly not the smartest thing to do, but you all deserve it. Have a good day/night/afternoon and good luck :) -
Project is Temporarily cancelled
Hi! There's been a great response to this project and I would first like to thank each and every one of you for all the amazing auditions! In fact, I don't think I saw a single audition I didn't like. Sadly, with recent and rather sudden changes in my schedule and budget, I'll be unable to complete this project for the time being. If I'm being honest, this sprang up very suddenly. I REALLY want to complete the project, but I'm pretty much physically and mentally unable to do so. So I wanted to apologize to all of you for wasting your time and effort, and for all of you who were looking forward to the release. I will be reopening this project as soon as I'm able to. Alex is Luke and Iris' older sibling. They're their legal guardian and looks after them very well.
They are also rather cocky and blunt, but they mean well.
Alex is Non Binary/Enby so I encourage Non Binary / Genderfluid / Bi Gender / Trans / etc. talent to audition.
Of course, I'm fine with cisgender / male / female people auditioning too!
Voice type: Medium low or medium. Preferably a more feminine voice, but I'll look into masculine voices as well.
