【Love Live!】Terpsechorus - Mixer Casting Call~!
Project Overview
Hello there!
We are Terpsechorus, a 2+ year old English Love Live! cover group. We've enjoyed creating covers to share with the community. With 2018 here, we're kicking ourselves into gear as far as releases. Included in that is realizing that we need more help: specifically in the mixing category.
A little bit about us:
With our first cover released in December 2015, we've become a group of friends who share a passion for Love Live! We are a diverse mix of individuals from different parts of the world who come together to share our thoughts, voices, and feelings through our covers.
Terpsechorus is a play on the muse "Terpsichore" and the word "chorus."
Through the years, we have done our best to create full versions of English lyrics to Love Live! songs. We strive to make engaging covers with amazing lyrics, original character art, and animated videos.
With the new year comes a new us. We have decided to become more dedicated in moving forward with projects we've had planned for a while. To do that, we need some extra help.
We are looking for another mixer or two to join us on our adventure!
We are a group of people who are growing together. As such, we are not expecting an expert at mixing (but of course, if you are, we'd be honored to have you on as well ♥). We understand people have to start somewhere.
For this audition, you can audition one of two ways:
- You can submit a mix you've done that has at least 3 voices
- You can use the materials provided to create a mix for this audition
What we're looking for is someone who has a general grasp of:
- Removing background noise
- Timing audio
- Blending the audio with the background track
Bonus points if you can tune as well!
A big point to consider before auditioning: These songs can get massive. With 9 people, that's a number of tracks that include, melodies, harmonies, and any other ad libs the songs call for. We expect whoever we bring on to have the same dedication as we will this year and beyond. As such, having the time to not only mix, but interact with us and become our friend is crucial.
