Hi, there! I'm on the hunt for some interesting spooky voices to help fill out the audio adaptation of Loose Canon Episode 3. I was planning to just do them myself, but I'm interested to see what others will come up that will add more flavor than just yours truly rasping garbled threats into a mic.
These are "ensemble roles," which mean they may be spoken in unison with other voices. Thus, there is a strong possibility I'll be casting multiple performers per role.
Due to the unnatural nature of these characters' voices, you MAY apply filters or effects to your voice if you so desire! Just be sure the dialogue can be understood.
The Nightmare voices take the form of mangled puppets, dolls, action figures, and toys that torment the hero Spark with their eerie warning. They should have high, almost playful sounding voices that increase in insanity and intensity with each line. They might sound whispering, far away, echoed, or static-y, like a recorded voice in a toy. They should all sound female, but male performers speaking in falsetto will work just as well.
"Someone is playing with you..." (taunting, whispered, and/or sing-song)
"Someone is playing with you!" (frenzied, shouted)
"How can you be so blind?!" (frenzied, shouted)

They can sound like just about anything! Have fun, vary up the lines as much as you'd like. Just make sure the dialogue is clear through whatever acting or effects you add!

"Delectable flesh! Let us feast!" (excited, frenzied)
"Kill! Kill! Kill!" (frenzied, chanted)
