Project Overview
Background-
Me and my friends noticed there was no projects for the game series Liar Liar by tokimekiwaka. So me and my friends are making a small dub group for the games and any comics. This group will mostly be a joke so keep that in mind.
Description Of The Game-
Liar Liar is a visual novel series created by tokimekiwaku on Tumblr. It is a point-and-click, choose-your-own-adventure game. Both games have many different endings and choices for you to explore and a multitude of different characters to interact with. You play with a young girl named Yukari Minamida, and you must overcome many different obstacles to achieve your goal of staying alive!
There are currently four games out, Liar Liar, Liar Liar: Pants on Fire, the Liar Liar 2 demo, and Blood Idol Wakabayashi.
Preferences-
-Are between the ages of 13-18 (I know that may be hard to find but I and my friends are all 15-16)
-Have played or watched a playthrough of the first game if a character is marked {LL1}, played or watched a playthrough of the second game if a character is marked {LL2}
Most descriptions of characters have been snatched right from the Wikia.
Wakabayashi may have two different voices, one for the first game and one for Wakabayashi Blood Idol, as the character himself is very different.
The voice actor for Yukari or Wakabayashi may be asked to also voice Yukabayashi from the Liar Liar 2 Demo.

Yukari is typically shown as cheery and constantly refers to herself as pretty or cute. However, at times, she can be serious and mature, which is more evident in the 2nd game. She tends to be lovey-dovey in relationships. Yukari has rather murderous tendencies and seems to struggle with emotions greatly, failing to understand why it would be wrong to commit murder or talk about it to others. Despite those tendencies, she believes that brutalizing someone is cruel and that she tries to make her kills as quick as she can. In addition, she only kills those she believes deserves it.
I imagine her having a higher loli-ish voice. Also, keep in mind you might be asked to voice Yukabayashi from Liar Liar 2 Demo.
Hi there! My name is Yukari! This may be sudden, but I'm just going to say it! I'm going to kill my boyfriend!
(Talking to Tanaka who just claimed he would stop her from killing) Oh really now? Just how are you going to do that? I'll have you know I buried you 10 feet under... and I'm not afraid to do it again!
(About Akira) He's really well liked since he's so kind, handsome, smart, and good at sports. But honestly I couldn't really care. He's not really my type.
Koshi is a caring boy, who is protective of his friends and alarmingly resilient. He was stabbed twice, buried alive, and still managed to crawl out of it. He is rather honest about his feelings and wastes no time telling the truth when it's necessary. He is quite the do-gooder, attempting to stop Yukari and Miho from killing anybody else in Liar Liar 2: Pants on Fire, and even going as far as trying to stab Yukari as she tried to kill her boyfriend in Liar Liar. However, in the Liar Liar 2 Demo, Koshi has proven to be manipulative of others. Koshi is described as "dense" by Tohru, which he claims is why Koshi hasn't figured out he likes him yet.
I imagine that he would have a slightly feminine voice but still sound like a male.
(Introducing Himself To Akira) My name is Koshi. Koshi Tanaka.
(To Yukari, Talking About Stopping Her From Killing) Well I've got no choice but to follow your exact whereabouts day and night
Miho pretends to act and look like an airhead but is, in reality, much smarter. She's very cut-throat and isn't afraid to threaten people. She's very logical, and is able to ground Yukari when she gets too emotional. She's more distrustful towards people and prefers to have a plan before taking action. She hates it when people insult her intelligence. She's also a student council president.
I imagine she would have a very serious tone with a normal voice (that's at your discretion).
(To Yukari, about Wakabayashi) I'd like you to kill a guy for me.
(To Yukari) But this is a pretty tight bind you're in Minamida. Stuffing a body in a stall is a pretty big deal! Not to mention you're covered from head to toe in blood! How about I help you out Minamida?
(To Tanaka) Ugh, You're all the same. Well, let me reeducate you, Tanaka. Satoru Wakabayashi was stalking me last year. He harassed me daily. He called me every day and left me disgusting lewd letters everywhere for me to read! He would take photos of me and leave some of them for me on my desk.
Tohru is shown to be rather well-balanced, using logic and sensibility to overcome things unlike the rest of the cast. He's described as a tsukkomi by Toki, otherwise known as someone who's much more reasonable and especially smarter than his following peers. It's been made clear that Tohru is rather sadistic and twisted, even outside of it being directly stated (for example, his endings and routes in the games). While he comes off as rather timid and nervous, it's more so his cravings for companionship and love that results in him behaving this way. Things don't unsettle him much, but Tohru Kunikuda still gets frightened easily and is actually prone to getting hurt in simple ways. He has rather bad trust issues, which is mostly understandable after his ties with Koshi Tanaka and his many negative past issues with both his parents and peers. Although he comes off as obsessive, or "yandereish" in nature, he's actually much more dominant and dependent than anything else. Possessive in nature, he's very needy and gets stuck with people easily, and because of this, he has a hard time making friends and being around other people. This may have been why he opened up to Yukari Minamida so fast. Oddly enough, he prefers being alone despite his yearning for friends and company. Obviously shown throughout the games and within his backstory, it's clear that Tohru isn't the happiest kid in the school. Whether it be because of pressure and force from his parents, Koshi Tanaka, loneliness, or overall mental issues is unknown. It's clear he also has a caring and sensitive side deep down, or else he wouldn't of worried so much for Minami Minamida's safety (although this was mostly because of care for Yukari). He's very determined to build up the Occult group into a proper club, stating he believed he could do it if he really tried in Liar Liar: Pants on Fire
I imagine he would be very timid, I can see him with a more feminine voice or a normal male voice.
(Introducing himself to Miho) Tohru Kunikuda...
Oh my God! Koshi! It's been a long time! A favor? Of course! Anything for you Koshi!
You know, you really hurt my feelings, Koshi. You were willing to let me get killed, and for what? A girl?
Satoru is very full of himself, and the star actor in the theater club. He's dramatic and loves attention, and claims he's great at singing and dancing in ''Blood Idol Wakabayashi''. He loves compliments and thinks he's cute and has boyish charm. At the same time, Satoru also has stalker-ish tendencies, as he stalks Miho, and isn't afraid to kill people to get to her.
Think Tsuruzo Yamazaki from yandere simulator. Maybe more feminine though. Also, keep in mind you might be asked to voice Yukabayashi from Liar Liar 2 Demo.
Why if it isn't Minimida! What is a fine lady like you doing here so early?! Well as for me, I was getting ready to prepare for this week's stage performance. I am so very busy, don't even have that much time for beauty sleep, not that I need it of course. This week's performance is going to be one of our best, I'm sure. Because I'll be starring as the lead role!
Oh, that reminds me! I just remembered that I needed to rehearse my line for this week's play! And I'd just love for you to help me recite them! Won't you help a dashing young lad recite his line of the school play?

My name is Satoru Wakabayashi! I'm 15 years old, blood type AB positive! My favorite subject in school is PE!!! I'm just your regular everyday middle schooler! Every day is a fun day since I'm in love! Her name is Miho! She's so cute! I'd do practically anything for her... But she just won't look my way u_u!! Today I woke up a little late so I'm running to school! Haha, XD I'm such a clutz~!
(Meeting Akira for the first time) Oh my gosh!!! xD I think I've found the perfect guys for my group! He's so big and intimidating!!! A true big sexe!!
Akira is known as the most popular guy at school, mainly known for his looks, smarts, and playing sports. He attracts many girls, and in Liar Liar: Pants on Fire it's rumored that women more than twice his age have propositioned him. He acts chivalrous and kind, but Yukari states that everything about him feels fake. This is true as Akira doesn't care for girls that already like him, and has an obsessive personality when he fixates on girls that struggle and reject him.
Akira is the only guy I can imagine not sounding feminine of the cast. He would just sound over the top gentlemanly, minus any accents.
(Introducing himself to Tanaka) My name’s Akira Tobitaka. Nice to meet you.
So do you have some kind of business with Yukari, Koshi? (After getting a response from Yukari and Tanaka saying he does " have business" with her) No, you don't. The lady said so.
(From Akira's Ending, Holding a bleeding Yukari like a limp doll) Oh, you're awake! Goodie! [Yukari: What's... going on?] Oh, that's for me to know and you to find out! (Positioning Yukari in front of a mirror) You know you've always fascinated me, Yukari. I could get practically any girl, except for you! I guess it's in my nature to want things I can't have!
Minami appears apathetic and talks in a monotone, not expressing interest in anything but her boyfriend. She doesn't appear to care about anybody else but herself and acts very bluntly. After Yukari killed her boyfriend, she grows more distant from her sister and doesn't care about killing her. She isn't hesitant to the thought of killing.
She would be very dull sounding with very little emotion, only when she kills or is with her boyfriend is she truly happy.
My sister won’t kill me because she cares for me in her own twisted way...
(After seriously harming Yukari) Geez... You should have listened to your friends, sis... You're so gullible... God, I feel so refreshed..... This is what you get for killing my boyfriend... Yukari.
Nao is very caring and calm, compared to the others. She doesn't freak out when Yukari kills everyone in Liar Liar: Pants on Fire, and nonchalantly asks if Yukari still keeps the heads of her victims. Nao, however, wouldn't date Yukari as she would like to stay alive. The creator describes her as a meathead jock volleyball player at Yukari's school.
I get big mom friend energy from Nao, she would sound very chill.
I've known you since elementary, haven't you killed every single person you've ever dated?

He's a very generic side character. So much so that he doesn't have a personality on the Wikia page. I'm maybe planning on having a voice for one of the other boys play Boy since he has very few lines. I'm not sure how he would sound, but nothing too wild.
Y-Yukari! What the hell are you doing!
(Talking to Minami) You're the most beautiful girl I've ever met!
