Leberium Spatium - Episode 1 Casting Call

Leberium Spatium - Episode 1 Casting Call

Project Overview

A four year old brain child delving into the deepest parts of human emotion while disguised as a lighthearted space opera. Liberium Spatium is a black sheep in the family of sci-fi. While playing off of traditional tropes, it follows the progression of the crew of a ship called the Nautilus through their relationships with each other and the secrets that they keep. Each episode will be 10 to 15 minutes in length and be uploaded to YouTube with both a raw audio and a version accompanied by a bare bones 2d animation. We plan to release the first episode (the one everyone listed in this call stars in) by August 20th at the latest, so quick turn around for those with more than a few lines is HIGHLY recommended.

This casting call is for the extras in Episode 1. Please feel free to audition for multiple characters as you see fit and there will be opportunities for additional characters of varying importance later down the line in future episodes.

As usual audio quality requirement is there (however loose as these are just extras) and there will be naturally credits to those who participate.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and good luck!

Frenise is the lovely engineer of the Nautilus, she works frivolously in the engine room and always tries her best. She has a bubbly personality and a very short lifespan. Those two lines are all she has in the script.

  • (Panic/Stress/Sassy)Ready for a speedy getaway like a bat outta hell, or ready to explode, 50-50 to be honest

  • (Exhausted/Panic)Yeah, I’ve got the engine as patched up as I can, those fuckers really did a number on her, not sure how long we’re gonna last out here.

Charles Mangriff is the co-owner of DeGreaser and Charles, a small engineering shop aboard the station. He's not the kindest to some of his engineers, but he has his heart on keeping them safe... Well, most of them.

  • (Angry, looking around)Don't you yes father me. Where the fuck is he?

  • (Welcoming, Jolly)Welcome to DeGreaser and Charles! What can I get for you lovely few today? New core? A pocket engi? Maybe some miscellaneous wiring?

  • (Serious/Businesslike)Oh… So uh, should I uh? Not be expecting a return of my P.E?
