Summary:
What if one day you wake up and find out that you've been in a coma for
two weeks? And besides that, what if you can't remember anything that happened
in the year before?
This happened to Detective
Lael Aiken, who struggles every day to find out what really happened since the
day he and his teammates left for a mission in a remote island, where
apparently there were no rules nor punishments. When he finds out that the
whole department has been keeping in touch with a prisoner to help them solving
cases without his knowledge, he realizes that there is much more than lies and secrets
surrounding him.

Requirements and Considerarions:
- Must have Discord.
- Be confortable with swearing, yelling and with sexual themed conversations (there isn't going to be sex scenes per se, so you don't need to worry about it)
- Submit 2/3 takes of your voice
- I care more about acting and creativity than microphone quality (wow a rhyme xD), but a minimum quality is required (noise background and so can be fine as long as you can remove it with Audacity or something else)
- Plese, be committed to this project. I don't ask you to read the full story but as long as your motivated and undertand the character, it's good to me!
- Deadlines are important. I'll be flexible because I undertand it's hard to get in time sometimes, but constant delays will not be approved.
- Have fun! If you aren't selected don't be upset. There will be new characters in the other parts.
I'm pretty flexible with the voice here. As long as it is understandable and not too monotone, it's good.
While he was waiting for detective Carver and detective Gore to arrive, he checked again if no one was paying attention to him and when he was sure, he opened his suitcase and looked for the file of the new murder case they were investigating. A forty-three year old woman was stabbed twenty-seven times all along her body, seven of them on the chest and five on her head. She was found in her house by her son, who found her lying on the kitchen floor with a horror countenance. No forced entry. Her husband committed suicide two years ago, letting her taking care of the two children. Their youngest child is a boy, who was fifteen when his father passed away and their oldest a seventeen year-old girl. So far, they could only talk with their youngest child, once the daughter has been M.I.A. since the day of the murder. She is now their main suspect.
He knew Julian since he began to work as a detective, when he was only twenty-one years-old, five years ago from now. Julian is seven years older than him but he always kept his youth attitude along all the time, which was helpful to integrate Aiken in the department.
When Aiken arrived home, he took off his shoes and turned on the CD player. He played “Deceiver of the Gods” album from Amon Amarth. He run towards the kitchen and put precooked lasagna on the microwave. After he took a bath, he ate the lasagna, had an argument with his neighbor in the floor below because of “lack of music taste”, turned off the music and laid on the bed, trying to sleep.
Lael is the main character of te story. He's confident and jokeful most of the times, but he can get pretty upset and angry too.
Yes. I looked through their bank accounts - all the account movements I mean - and he liked to spend lot of money on randomly things like trips, expensive jewelry, expensive stuff, you know?"
"Well, as long as my eyes keep looking forward and not backwards, it means I still have to live my dreams and not my memories” (tired, trying to be positive)
“Listen to me, you piece of shit. Since you came here, there’s been plenty of things that don’t make sense at all. And your “I’m the best” attitude not only pisses everyone off but also seems to be rehearsed, like you are trying to pretend you’re something you’re not.” (muttering with a harsh voice)
Ace is a nineteen year old guy who is always "acting up", which means he changes his humor and voice tone quite a lot. Consider him as teeneger who always thinks he's right type.
“Nice to meet you Aiken. Can I call you Lael instead? I am Ace Ruskin and I am going to be your right hand whenever you need help” (cocky)
For example, babies and little kids are usually included here. Now you’re probably thinking (deep voice) hey, but baby and kids do experience stuff (normal, mocking voice) “Yeah, yeah, but what I’m actually talking is real life experience”
“I will fucking kill you” (whisper, threatning) *creepy/evil laugh* But, of course, I have to torture you a bit before, because, you know, I’m getting paid so I can make you spill out the intel we all know you have” (a bit of crazy talking)
Edath is being under arrest for multiple murders. She's more of a tomboy and can be a bit crazy sometimes.
“Seriously? Now I have to be annoyed by a brat? (sarcastic giggle) "I haven’t got any candy for you and my merchandise isn’t for sale… well, not for you at least (suggestive voice, pervert laught at the end)"
“Oh beautiful ceiling, thy ornaments speak to me. To others, thou are nothing more than an old ceiling with some cracks, but to me, thou are my sky, my heaven, my white canvas where I paint with my imagination a new picture every day.” (theatrical)
(confused, then shocked) “W-what are… No... No!! (smacking fists on the table, now yelling) What did they do to you?
Adam is the tipical team's leader who acts up as a badass character, although he actually cares for his team. He grunts a lot too.
"Don’t jump into conclusions without certainties. We can’t say that the kid is guilty without having any concrete intel that makes him the murderer besides the fact that his alibi isn’t confirmed.” (assertive)
“Rough night, huh? Did you work out in the bed, was it?” (perverse laugh)
“Oh, is that so? But guess what? I’ve heard that your eighteen birthday is next week! I’m gonna make sure you will party in a prison jail that day” (sarcastic)
Julian is a "peace and love" character who loves his job. He rarely gets angry or upset, although sometimes it happens.
“Now that I remember, after speaking to the boy who was quite broken and sad about the situation, I contacted the school to confirm the son’s alibi as he said that he was in school at the time of the murder." (a bit of shaky voice - guilty for forgetting that important part)
“Are you feeling ok? Are you remembering something right now? I guess you probably shouldn’t have started to work this week yet...” (worried, shaky voice)
(trying not to sound angry) “W-what? What do you mean by that?” (muttering furiously) “What’s going on…?”
Tadeas is the director of the Investigation Bureau. He's quite approachable and as a smooth voice.
He may seem a bit lunatic sometimes but this nineteen year old young man has an IQ of 160 and good intuition power that are the weapons he is lending us, so we must use them carefully and wisely. (sympathetic)
I just hope I don’t need to make them do that surgery to him again. God knows how painful it was to watch. Besides, there was no guarantee he would make it out alive again. (worried, guilty conscience
“I know I did and yes I am, you know that!” (sound of smacked his fists on the desk “Stop reminding me of that, alright!” (upset)
Elena is elegant and girly. She is emotive and sympathetice.
“Don’t worry Aiken, I look over the prince charming so he will not bother you” (smiling, playful)
“Money. Money is what’s wrong” (sorrow/upset) *sighed* We already interrogated the man and confessed everything. Now we are waiting for a trial to the husband” (more serious voice)
“H-he went to the bathroom right now. But what happened to - “ (worry)
Nathan appears only in an investigation as a possible suspect
“I’m Nathan Green, this is Gabriela Teller. Are you really a detective? Aren’t you a little bit too young?” (polite, then curious)
“What do we need to explain more to you? Are you that dense?” (getting angry)
“Are you telling us that we are now… suspects” (voice slowly increasing with anger)
Similiar to Nathan, Gabriela only appears in an investigation
“N-no, it’s f-fine”
“W-Well… we were there because we wanted to have some privacy…” (guitly)
“Because we can’t (sobbing)“I have a family and so does he”
This one can be voiced by a male or female, although I originally thought to be a male prision guard
(clapping, speaking sarcastically) "Very well, young woman. You should try to go for acting as a career (stop clapping) “Oh wait, you can’t. You’re in jail. You probably won’t have a career” (evil laugh)
(yelling) “Enough!” (slaps a prisioner.) *deep breath* “You have two detectives waiting for you in the interrogation room. Stand up and come with me” (calmer)
“Shut up already if you don’t want me to pay you a visit later”
He has just this line, so I'm fine with whatever voice type you want to give him
“I was tired! I always knew that they weren’t my parents but I didn’t fucking care! He was a shitty father who only cared about himself. Seriously, who thinks about committing suicide when one knows that another person has cancer? A normal person would support my mother, would try to reach the kids, I don’t know, but abandoning us like this? What a jerk! My mother got worse and didn’t have any patience for us." (yelling, really angry)
“Hello sir, may I take your order?” (politely, sympathetic)
"You will forget everything now." (whispering, paused and somewhat threatning)
"What happened kid?"
