KPD - Pre-recorded Radio Show

KPD - Pre-recorded Radio Show

Project Overview

KPD is a non-profit radio show that showcases various well known and not so well known musical pieces of work; The show may contain use of extreme language, violence and blatant agitation towards well known figures. This particular pre-recorded show will feature Halloween and Halloween themed music.

I am looking for voice actors that are willing to all work on the same project with one another, one that will be non-profit. Because it is non-profit - I can't afford to hire people to get the project going, and so, I am looking more so for people to join in with the radio show to perhaps build a community with it. The project will be a pre-recorded show that will contain humorous dialog and extreme use of language, if you are not mature or can not handle humor with the use of edgy comments and dialog; please do not apply. I can answer any questions and provide additional information through my use of contacts, contact me if interested. The show will play music for several moments, and afterwards, cut back into dialog of the showcased characters. That means that the show will look a little something like this . . .

The most I can offer is coverage of your skills and for people to know who you are, it isn't much - but perhaps you'd enjoy just being a part of the Halloween project. Unfortunately because the show has taken so many turns from left to right, up and then down - from subject to subject, providing actual and reliable details as for what will be discussed on the show can be difficult. Because of this, an interview and question approach will be taken for voice actors; in order to properly provide these people with better details and understanding of the show. Rather than straight auditioning, please contact me directly and I can figure things out between us. Thanks for taking the time to read this, my contact information can be found below:

Because of the nature of the show, an interview and question type approach will be used rather than looking for specific characters. When I gain a voice that has quality and with many different echos to it, I re-consider the script and push it around with better dialog or more suitable dialog. And because of this, if I were to look for a specific character or a certain script - I wouldn't necessarily be able to do that. Please contact me directly so that we may discuss what you have to offer, and I may do so for you as well! Thanks!

  • Fan Caller 1:

Hello caller 763, thanks for calling 505.55; this is your chance at winning a family ticket to the family water-tycoon! All you’ve got to do is tell us an interesting story that you’ve got to share with family and friends. ((Try this line out with common language that you’d share in a normal conversation, try not to put too much effort into things and just let things flow naturally. This will allow me to naturally evaluate your voice.))

Hi! Thanks so much- the last song reminded me of a song that we listened to in the hot summer days of Orlando beaches! My mother had taken me for the third time to Orlando studios and everything was just so perfect! Free food after the meal tickets, amusement park rides and waterpark rides; a laser and firework show that went off every night in the pitch black sky. I’d have to say that one of my fondest memories was getting trapped on the ferris wheel after a power outage and getting to share the cold winds of rain with my dad. It might’ve been a misery for some people, but we got to see the park light up all at once - it was just perfect.

  • Conversation with Kui 1: Hey Kevin! You’ve got a music request gettin’ to the going for ya! What can we do for ya, Mr. Dude?

Hey . . . I’m not a dude, and how about we get some -REAL- music going on? Listening to all of the beats and la’la’las makes me wish my girlfriend wasn’t the one controlling the station.

Conversation with Kui 1: Girlfriend? Thought you said you weren’t a dude?

The fuck kind of question is that?

Conversation with Kui 1: (Satire laughter) Ahh’hah’righty then, let’s get some ‘REAL’ music goin for our friend Kevin here! Thanks for the talk Kevin, let us hope your girlfriend don’t drive you off a cliff - yeah?

What the fuh- (Music will begin playing to overshadow his voice, clicking the conversation to an end.)
