Kobayashi Dragon Maid One Shot (Abridged)
Project Overview
Welcome to the world of dragons and magic, where we'll be exploring the life of one Miss Koabayashi, and her friends... who just happen to be dragons, who try to fit in a normal world that's not full of chaos or malice.
Direction will be done by myself and my friend ProfessorChris. Keep in mind that it is a one shot, but there will be many other opportunities to be a part in our projects and even help write them as well!. We're always looking for new and fresh talent trying to get their start in the community and get into a project, with the right equipment of course.
This video will be uploaded on YouTube, and all editing will be done by myself, script writing will be done by multiple members of SoundBomb. All voice actors/actresses will be credited at the end of the video, as well as in the description of the video. Since this is a abridging project, live direction is important to get the product we want. For live direction, we'll set up a specific time when you can record, and have a recording session that will last for at least 20 minutes. The recording will be all on one file and be named in the format of CharacterName_Username, and will be exported as a ,wav.

Also, there are a few requirements, nothing big, just a few things.
Requirements:

An XLR or a decent sound treated USB. editing audio to make it sound it's best is hard when there are missing frequencies in the audio file. So an XLR or a decent USB microphone in a sound treated environment is key to make the audio sound as good as it can be! -
The ability to curse, there is a bit of profanity in this project, some of which is going to be loud, so be prepared for that. -
Discord for live direction, we'll be live directing in this project as soon as we can after we cast you, so if there's a set time you're able to record, inform us right away and we'll set something up. -
The ability to inform the director of time restraints and if you can't be in the project anymore, there have been a few cases of voice actors leaving the project because they're not able to be in it anymore, that's fine, but not contacting us about it is a big no-no, we put trust in our voice actors to get their lines in before the deadline, and to inform us of any problems and concerns. -
The ability to be able to request more time if needed, time restraints are always a wild card, so letting us know beforehand would be a huge help!

Kobayashi has been cast!
Miss Kobayashi has been cast to Krem, but don't worry, there are two more roles open, those being Kanna and Tohru, our main dragons. Good luck have fun auditioning! -
Script is done!
The script for the one shot is done and ready to record! After multiple opinions on the script, as well as the general flow for the editor, we have finished writing and as soon as we get the voice actors for this project we can record and get this out in a matter of a week!

Miss Kobayashi is the main character of this anime. She's just a normal woman, living a normal life, until suddenly a dragon shows up... and another dragon... and a goddess, and a demon, and several young kids that all manage to transform her life into one huge misadventure. Her only outlet from this madness, is getting completely wasted.
Her voice is very monotone, but not a stranger to emotion. She's also very sarcastic when she wants to be.
(Narrated) You know, I thought getting drunk that night was fun.
(Awkward and nervous) Eyyyy, ahhhhhhh, watch your mouth there little miss motormouth.
(Freaked out) HAHA, YEAH SO MUCH FUN, SO GREAT, HAHAHAHAHHHAHAHA.

Titular maid, and second main character of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, if you don't know who Tohru is, this is the easiest description I can give you. She meets Miss Kobayashi in the mountains, goes home with her, and falls in love with her, proceeding to accompany her throughout the series. Despite at her roots being a dragon of chaos, Tohru tends to be upbeat and caring towards Kobayashi, Kanna, and her other friends but incredibly hateful to anyone else.
Her voice is loud and bouncy, sometimes it could be cute and over-enthusiastic and other times it'll be drunk.
(Enthusiastically drunk) I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT ASIANS ARE BUT THEY SOUND LIKE THEY DESERVE DEATH!
(Drunk Laughter)

Kanna is an incredibly cute loli that we've all come to know and love. Normally she's very quiet, but in this case, She is very childlike and energetic. Kanna moves in with Miss Kobayashi shortly after Tohru does, and being as young as she is, enrolls into elementary school.
Kanna should have an upbeat and energetic voice, typical to a loli. When auditioning for Kanna, try multiple different pitches so that the casting director can pinpoint which one will be best.
My mom pushed me down an escalator going upwards and ran away.
