"King of the Monsters" - CANCELLED
Project Overview
After recieving news that "Godzilla 2" was pushed back to 2019, I decided to do something "Godzilla"-ish to pass the time. And thus, "King of the Monsters" was born.
A trilogy, "KOTM" focuses on Big G himself and Kyohei Serizawa, a paleontologist who develops a sort of bond with Godzilla. The first in the trilogy, "Gojira the Avenger", focuses on Godzilla's rising and Serezawa's attempts to finish his father's work. Meanwhile, an old foe of Godzilla's wreaks havoc on the world.

A Japanese paleontologist, Kyohei Serizawa is the son of Daisuke Serizawa, who first discovered Godzilla at the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan. He follows him across the ocean, trying to study him and complete his father's work. He develops a connection with Godzilla, and knows they will meet again...
(awestruck) "Gojira..."
"Just look at him, Admiral. Do not think of him as a monster. Think of him as more of an animal... albiet a rather big one (chuckle)."
"Hiroshima. (pause) He first awoke at Hiroshima."
A pair of mysterious twins who are followers of Mothra. She speaks through them, and seem to appear and dissappear without warning.
"Ga wa, kanojo no fukushu o motsu koto ni narimasu."
"Kanojo wa tsyo-sa de sodachimasu."
"Kongetsu no gyo ga keioku sa remasu."
Admiral of the U.S. Navy, Andrew Scott is at first skeptical of Godzilla, and wants him dead along with Mothra... that it, until he saves countless lives in an act of unexpected selflessness. This proves to Scott that Godzilla is an important and unexpected ally to fight with. He also helps found a new millitary organization to aid Godzilla in his battles... G-Force.
"How about Godzilla? Easier to say than Gojira and sounds a hell of a lot more badass... no offense."
(awestruck) "An act of God..."
"Let's move out! Follow Godzilla and help him Mothra!"
