Project Overview

Story: We follow a story of intrigue and deception straight from the case files of Detective Nick Estiva. Nick is called in on what should have been an easy case. A couple of numbskulls, wannabe bank robbers steal a family heirloom and he's hired to return it. But he soon uncovers a Federal Investigation and heist plot gone wrong.


This is an original product that will be produced by one man. 

This will be posted on Youtube and our website for free at thenewtowr.com, possibly other media as it comes up. All actors will be notified if it will be posted anywhere else. The project will consist of 4 episodes released over a month beginning the first Saturday of April 2018 (tentative). 

All actors will be paid after recording session via Paypal, cryptocurrency, or whatever app you use to accept payment within 14 days. 

A bonus of another 5 bucks will be paid if actors stay for all four episodes. Paid upon final recording within 14 days.

All actors are required to have their own mic to record.

I would like to get the recording sessions done as quickly as possible. I would like to have all four episodes done before April 7th 2018 but if it goes over it goes over.

The final product is intended to be 4 episodes about 10-15 minutes in length. 

Also, I'm all for collaboration, if you think you have a better line or a better way then tell me.

  • Deadline has been pushed up to March 7th

    When I posted this casting call I was not expecting such a turn out for people wanting to lend their voices to this project. For the past week, I have been literally grinning ear to ear every time I got a notification saying that there was a new audition for me to listen to. So far the talent has been incredible, YOU GUYS ROCK. But due to certain time constraints and the number of auditions the casting call's final date will be March 7th. By March 10th all actors that have been chosen for their roles will be contacted to arrange a meeting to go over production details. Thank you guys so much and I look forward to future productions!

Dominique is an ambitious woman whose talent as a Federal Investigator is wasted because of her gender and age. She wants to prove herself. But after seeing that no matter how much "good work" she's done she will never get the respect she wants. She decides that she'll make a name for herself by stealing right from under noses of her bosses. They'll definitely remember her then.

  • Look, this is a good deal. I get recognition along with a little... bonus and you get the payout from the case plus half the finder fee.

Officer Richard Vim worked for a time with Nick Estiva until he wanted to do more his community. Vim is a boy scout that tries to do everything by the book. He wants to help his, "friend"  Nick. But he's usually torn between duty and friendship. He puts up Nick's sarcasm and harsh words because he knows why Nick became that way. He figures he's the only family Nick has and he has to stick by him.

  • You act like we're not friends but I like to think otherwise. Even after that time, you stranded on the side of the highway.
