Kami No Manimani fandub
Project Overview
I am thinking of doing a trio fancover of Kami No Manimani (As The Gods Say). The lyrics I will be using are those of Jubyphonic.
If you have never heard this song before it deals with the myth of the Japanese Goddess Amaterasu (Goddess of the sun) there is a story wherein she seals herself in a cave due to a fight with one of her siblings Susanoo (God of storms, and often a trickster) which results in the world being plunged into darkness. The gods eventually tempt Amaterasu out which rejuvinates the world.
This song was originally sung by the vocaloids Gumi, Rin, and Miku, but to keep with the mythology theme (and to avoid people singing exactly like the vocaloids in every single audition) I am going to cast the roles as if they are for the god/goddess. The roles will include Amaterasu, Susanoo (whom I will be singing for), and Tsukiyomi (the God of the moon, and later the spouse of Amaterasu).

While Amaterasu is a goddess, this role is open to males as well. For the most part Amaterasu (in this instance at least) would be more dejected or depressed since she just had a bad fight with Susanoo. Later on in the song though, she will try to cheer Susanoo up though. If you can record this twice, once more depressed, and once more happy, that would be helpful.
I am going to use this instrumental, so if you decide to use a backing track please use that one. Feel free to sing acapella though.

While Tsukutomi is a god, this role is open to females as well. Overall Tsukuyomi will be trying to keep the peace in this rendition. The three characters are siblings in the mythology, and as such I see Tsukuyomi as the mediator (maybe because he's the moon) also he does eventually wed Amaterasu so he would try to keep her happy and cheerful because of that.
I am going to use this instrumental, so if you decide to use a backing track please use that one. Feel free to sing acapella though.
