Just Wake Up -Sims 3 Voice Over Film
Project Overview
IMPORTANT: I extended the deadline beacuse I will be on vacation from June 11th to the 19th!
Hi there! I'm in need of some voice actors for a Sims 3 Machinima movie! It's going to be roughly an hour and forty-five minutes.
Plot: I don’t want to spoil too much, but this machinima is based off Matt Groening's, “Futurama” episode, “Sting.” The plot centralizes on the slowly declining relationship of Sarah and Will Granger, a newly married couple with newly arising problems. Will, unfortunately, dies in a car accident, leaving Sarah a grieving widow. The story’s focus revolves, primarily, on Sarah’s incapability to cope with the death of her husband and all the pain and guilt that came along with the accident. It’s a loving story about the impactful affect one person could be in another’s life and the actions that that affect can make one do, and the significance of willpower, emotional strength, and determination.
Rules and Regulations: All voice actors must have high quality mics. (No background noise, no muffled sound) Low quality mics will not be considered.

A well organized realtor, always keeping busy with her career. But despite her work-driven mind, she still remains the benevolent mother that Sarah needs during the majority of the film. Although, Olivia can be overwhelmingly comforting, she is also the definition of a realist. What may seem pesimistic to Sarah, Olivia tries to instill the reality of situations during Sarah's faltering sanity.
Age: Mid 50s
Voice type: High to Medium Tone, Motherly, Professional
Part: Large
Come here...(embraces Sarah) I know it's hard, okay? I went through all of this too when your father died. But it just takes time.
Hello hello hello! (Sees Sarah silently sitting down) You okay, honey?
Sarah, Will is dead! I know it's hard, but you can't keep living like this! You can't continually cling onto this idea that he's somehow alive! This obsession is getting way out of hand, Sarah! And...I just don't know what to do anymore. I'm worried for you, honey. And I'm terrified.
As well as being Sarah’s later deceased husband,Will is a very charismatic and, often, comical character. Like Dresden, he always has a joke to say or humorous story to tell. Even from "beyond the grave," in the dreams of Sarah, he still continues to act the way he does.
Age: Mid 20s
Voice type: Medium Tone

(**This character MUST be able to cry)
Wake up. Please, Sarah just wake up! Wake up! (I'd like to hear multiple variations of this line: Angry, Desperate, Saddened)
I don't know if you can hear me, Sarah...but I love you. And I'll always love you.
I have a surprise for you Sarah! Come on, I hid it for your in the dresser. I'm surprised you never caught on, you knew I was never good at hiding things. (snickers to self)
Sarah’s best friend, whom she seeks comfort from during her depression. Very upbeat and very excited.

Sarah...Sarah...it’s okay. Okay? I know you’re hurting...I am too. Girl, it’s the middle of the night, you haven’t gotten that much sleep -and I guess I’m not gonna get any either- but I think you’re just under a lot of stress. But that’s okay. It’s all part of the game. I’m here for you, Sarah.
**I want this line to sound as natural as an actual conversation with two good friends reminising, which is somewhat difficult if it is actually scripted
So...(adlib a short story from when you (Val) and Sarah were in high school)
Come on! Whatever you wanna do! Just name it, we'll do it!
Will’s best friend. Dresden is the usual fit nut and gym rat, who loves to crack jokes and make light of every situation. But after Will’s death, Dresden becomes the epitome of the classical Sad Clown Trope. Using humor and laughs, in order to distract himself from his own grief and abjection.
(**This character MUST be able to curse, cry and exhibit a small variety of emotion)

Voice type: Medium to Low, Masculine,
Part: Medium
Ay, it's okay. Come in. Just calm down, everything's okay, okay? (Slight pause) So what's up? Tell me slowly, and try speaking English this time, yeah?
(hurt and insulted) Will's dead, Sarah...why are you doing this? This shit hurts enough, you know? And I don't need to hear this crap about how he might still be alive! It's sick.
(raging, on the verge of tears) You killed him you stupid bitch! You killed him! You killed my best friend! I'll kill you!
Sarah’s therapist. An old friend of Sarah's mother, who tries to help Sarah during her state of depression.

First off, I’d just like to say that I am here to listen. That is my trade: listening. I’m not here to pass judgement or to dictate your life. I’m here to listen.
I believe Sarah’s suffering from Post Traumatic Stress and is starting to develop signs of schizophrenia.
Sarah, five tablets is beyond excessive. That’s not how the medication works. Consuming more than your prescribed amount can severely damage your health and can only worsen your hallucinations.
The story’s protagonist. Sarah is a loving and caring wife, but like her mother, always preoccupied and has the majority of her days monopolized by her work. (**This character MUST be able to cry and exhibit a large variety of emotion)
Age: Mid 20s
Voice type: Medium Tone
Part: Large
If Will's dead then why do I keep seeing him? How is it that every time I go to sleep, he's there...waiting for me? He talks to me, he's trying to reach me somehow! I can't explain it, but I know it's him! It has to be!
No…(begins to cry) Not another dream…(cries)
(in hysterics and sobbing) I can't, I can't, I can't! Please just stop saying that! I can't! I just can't! Please, just come back! Just...come back!
