Island of the Lost (Story driven Modded Minecraft SMP) New players and editors needed
Project Overview
Ever wanted to join an SMP with an actual story? This might be your chance! Whether you're just starting out, love being part of a community, or you're a small content creator looking for something fresh I want YOU in this SMP.
One day, a group of people wake up on a remote island with no memory of how they got there. In a desperate attempt to survive, they split into two groups and establish separate towns. But what they don’t realize is that they’re not welcome on this island. No one is coming to rescue them and it's only a matter of time before they all meet a grim end.
There is one way out but it begins by listening to the mysterious, unrecognizable voice whispering in your mind. It offers guidance… and choices.
How the SMP Works:
Each player starts with three lives. Periodically, a quest will be assigned to each town. These quests must be completed within a set time limit.
If your town completes the quest: you earn a reward.
If you fail: one member of your town will be randomly eliminated.
During quests, you're only allowed to die up to three times. After your third death, you're fully eliminated and placed in spectator mode.
But here's the twist...
🔪 Betrayal is allowed. You can turn on your town, join another, or even sacrifice a teammate if it benefits you. Alliances shift, loyalties break, and your choices could mean survival or Death.

You will be required to be online as often as you can or at least follow along based of discord

As a content creator whether you are new or already comfortable with content creation you will be given priority in the story event to have more important roles

You're job Will be to stay in spectator mode to do a few things occasionally record b-roll, record random events, follow certain important players, make sure everyone who loses their lives have been eliminated accordingly, and finally make sure the server rules aren't being broken

I’m looking for editors to help with the large amount of footage from the SMP. Each editor will handle a portion of the content to make everything more manageable. At the very least, I only expect the raw footage to be cut down, cleaned up, and polished enough for me to take it from there but if you’d like to help with the fine-tuning and final touches, that’s completely optional. There won’t be short or stressful deadlines either; you’ll have plenty of time to work through the footage since it’s quite long.
