Welcome to the IDOLiSH7 dub project!
IDOLiSH7 is a Japanese rhythm game and anime featuring seven male idols striving to become famous under a small agency.
This is a fandub project and all rights belong to Bandai Namco Entertainment and music to Lantis. I do not own anything.
We will be doing season 1 of the anime, which means there are many available roles aside from just the main seven. I am projecting to have the project finished sometime around mid 2020. I would like to have this finished after season 2 finishes airing. I would also like to shoot to have a trailer out by early next year. Official dates TBD.
Directions for each character are listed below, be sure to provide quality audio that is not quiet or unclear. Please make sure your audio is loud enough, I will not be choosing any auditions that I cannot hear. Pronunciation is also key, so if you are having issues please reach out.

A rational and brilliant member, and one of the two youngest. Despite that, he is very mature, cool and collected. Younger brother to Mitsuki. I am looking for a more serious, mature voice for him.
What do I like? Well I guess...cool and sharp stationary. [pause/sigh] You sure are nitpicky…

The eldest member of the group, often referred to as the “leader.” He comes off as aloof, so I am looking for a voice that can reflect his mature but laid back personality.
What do I like? That’s a difficult question. Well if I had to choose, taking it easy, I guess.
I’m not fit to be leader. [sighs] This is our beginning. For better or for worse, our beginning exists only in this moment. Let’s give it all we’ve got!

The energetic member of the group and older brother to Iori. He cares a lot about the other members and about becoming an idol. Looking for someone very energetic and loud.
What do I like? Isn’t it obvious?! The legendary idol Zero! I even got his autograph when I was little! Becoming like Zero is my dream!

Nagi! I know you’re more than just a womanizing anime nerd.
He is the dancing prodigy of the group, and among the two youngest along with Iori. He can be aggressive and immature, but also very passionate. I am looking for a raspy and somewhat low voice, he speaks slowly and lazily.
What do I like? King Pudding. King Pudding is the best! I just bought some at the convenience store!
I’m sorry I forgot to eat breakfast, but I do what I have to do. What’s wrong with that?
So-chan, you’re too strict. My job is to sing and dance in this group. I’ll do my job but I don’t want anyone scolding me about anything else.
An all around talented member, his character is very kind, but he also has a frightening tone when angry. I am looking for someone with a smooth and soothing voice, mid to high range.
What do I like? Orderliness and tidiness I guess. Is that weird? [laughs]
There’s no telling when our fans are watching. We need to do better. We should strive to do everything five minutes early so we don’t cause problems for our manager.

He is the charismatic visual of the group, known for his charms and flirtatious personality. Despite his obsession with anime and women, he also has a smart and serious side. Looking for someone extremely over the top, and obnoxiously energetic. Any use of accents must be very subtle. **PLEASE!!!! Watch parts of the anime to get an idea how he sound!!!! I want something to emulate the originals voice actor!!!!!****

The center of the rival idol group called Trigger. He is soft spoken and has an “angel-like” personality to the public, but behind the scenes is cold and serious. Looking for someone to portray his mean, yet gentle voice.
Ryu, you know our fans don’t like hearing about girls.
And Gaku, you’re lucky you became a star by standing there with that face and voice of yours.
Our job is hard, but our fans’ lives could be even harder. So if we can’t make every moment the best possible, then there is no point in standing onstage.
The second member of Trigger, he is a straightforward and serious idol who is deemed the “most desirable man.” Although his true personality is kind and caring. I am looking for a deep and serious voice.
Tenn, how can you stand being called a modern day angel? You’re a cold-blooded hedgehog with a double personality.
Is that a concert? Hmm. Our president would probably tell us to stomp them before they have a chance to grow.
When I lost my voice, I was scolded for not caring for myself, and lacking self-awareness as a pro.
The third member of Trigger, he is the model-like character who became an idol to help his family. His character is very loving and innocent, but to the public he is the “wild and sexy one.” Looking for a voice that can come off as sexy but also shy.
I enjoy looking at the ocean. Listening to the sound of the waves makes my mind and body relax.

She is the new and inexperienced manager to Idolish7, and the daughter to the president of Takanashi Productions. She is nervous and soft-spoken, and willing to do whatever it takes to help Idolish7 succeed. Looking for a cute and determined sounding voice.

Cutting to the chase, Tsumugi, you will be working as a manager for a new idol group.
The president has been planning this project for years, and it shall determine the fate of the company. He says if this succeeds, we’ll go from eating simple lunches to gourmet ones.
President of Yaotome Productions, a well-known agency that contracted Trigger. He is the father of Gaku, and is a selfish and power hungry man. Looking for a very deep voice, someone who can portray a somewhat evil character.

This is a paid position for a video editor. You will be dubbing the episodes with the actors’ lines, music, and sound effects. It is roughly $10 per episode for a total of $170, I will send individual payments after each episode is received. This will be further discussed with whomever is picked. I will provide all the video and audio files.

Must have previous experience with video editing/dubbing/sound editing
Must provide at least 1-2 quality examples of your previous work and explain them
Please provide your experience or education in editing

The protagonist to Mahou Shoujo Magical★Kokona, an anime within the series. Looking for a high-pitched, cutesy female voice. A typical magical anime girl voice, something very similar to her in the anime.
