Project Overview

Hi, I'm Cel. My friend and I decided to make a Homestuck voice acting group designed for comic dubs and the like! We may cover parts of the original comic as well. We do have a few rules when it comes to auditioning.

1. MUST HAVE NO BACKGROUND NOISE. If you cannot afford an expensive mic, I recommend using Apple earbuds and recording with Audacity and then using the noise reduction feature.

2. Be nice. Don't criticize anyone else's audition.

3. Audition do-overs are okay! I may ask you to read some more lines or read them in a different way.

4. You must have a Discord as we will be making a server once roles have been casted. 

5. I am quite the amateur, so frequent updates on available roles and the like should be expected.


If you have any suggestions on more characters we can add or anything else, feel free to private message me! I am open to anyone's ideas as this is my first project and I am a little unexperienced.

    What will the name of this young man be?

  • You figure you’ll cool it on the time travel for a while. Don’t want to see the Dave corpses start to pile up. Especially if one of them winds up being you.

  • In here you keep an array of humorous and mystical ARTIFACTS, each one a devastating weapon in the hands of a SKILLED MAGICIAN or a CUNNING PRANKSTER.

    You are neither of these things.

My personal perception of John's voice is a bit nasily, not overexcitable but a little peppy. He is usually pretty calm but has his anxious moments.
