Project Overview
Arista, a young halfblooded earth sorceress who is the last of her kind, must brave the journey across the country to meet her estranged father and stop the forces who plot to overthrow him from his position as emperor.

One of the Deities that takes on the form of a fallow deer. They need a strong, yet mystical voice.
[angered] Botheration! You could have put the poor girl's whole psyche into chaos. What were you thinking?
Leader, please, this matter must be handled with appropriate action. We are not trying to defy you, but this must be arranged!
Oh, of course! Let us forget all that the Lamias sacrificed, only to lose it all and be wiped out like pestilence-afflicted vermin!
The older brother of Indigo, making him Arista's uncle. He's the oldest of six children, and he is very wise and honorable. He will appear in the flashback episode and in Arista's visions. He needs a strong and compassionate voice.
[gently, yet sadly] Nalani's right, Indigo. No matter how much you cry, it won't persuade mother and father to come back. You must be stronger than your tears; they would want us to celebrate their lives, not drown in grief over their passings.
Dear sister, come and lay down with us in the huts. The vigil will continue at dawn.
I'm sorry, sir. Indigo still blames herself. She feels that she led them into the trap during the hunting expedition. We all mourn for our parents, but the wounds in my sister's heart as especially deep.
The aging chieftan of the Lamias, and the last leader of the tribe before the extinction. He needs a wise, smooth voice.

The doctor of the M'Jaal empire. He's a dear friend of Lachlan's. He needs a knowledgable and friendly voice.
[frantic] Oh, dear, bring her inside! We must get her seen to quickly! There isn't much time!
[grimly and somber] There's no doubt about it: this poor woman has cholera. The vomiting and the diarrhea have all the characteristics of the disease, not the mention she has a fever and is pretty dehydrated. She's very lucky that you found her, but there's not promise that she'll pull through. She so advance that she may not make it through the night.
Nurse? Give the patient water with salt and sugar to ease her stomach, and use a wet rag for her fever. If she's strong enough to eat, only give her soft foods. All we can do is wait.
Indigo's older brother and Arista's uncle. Second oldest of six children, he tries to be as mature as he can. He'll appear in the flashback episode and in Arista's visions. He needs a fair voice.
Tilikum? Tilikum, Chief Nuka would like to speak to you.
[angrily] Sighna, shut up! You're not helping anything. Why don't you go sulk in your corner like you usually do?
[saddened] No...I'm afraid she won't. Perhaps this is what she needs.
Indigo's sister and Arista's aunt. She's very kind and loving, but also strong-willed and at times brash. She will appear in the flashback episode and in Arista's visions. She needs a kind voice, yet a determined one.
[voice hitching] Shh, Indigo. Sister, you set your mind at rest. You must sleep.
[emotionally; crying a bit] No! This not your fault! The murderer here is the bounty hunter who let fear and ignorance corrupt their vision and blacken their heart. Not you, never you! Not a single person in this village blames you for what happened, Indigo!
[heartbroken] She'll probably never come back...will she?

[desperate] Please, stop! This isn't right! Please reconsider!
[sternly] It may not be my position to say so, but this is not what we do! We give examples of mercy all the time, so what makes tonight so different, Oydis? Get off of them!
[infuriated] Think of what this could lead to!
Indigo's younger brother and Arista's uncle. He's very embittered over his death at the hands of commoners, and in life he was quite the grouch as well. He will appear in the flashback episode and in Arista's visions. He needs a crabby, cynical voice.
[angrily] Oh, shut her up! She's been blubbering since dusk, and some of us are trying to sleep!
You're not the boss of me, brother!
Well, it'd certainly be better than laying here and listening to Indigo moan and wail over something that she did! Murderers don't deserve sympathy.
The youngest sibling of Indigo and Arista's uncle. He's a very sweet kid who died too young, but still has a good heart and adores his family. He will appear in the flashback episode and in Arista's visions. He needs a sweet, innocent voice, maybe around ten or eleven years old.
[tearfully] It's okay, Indigo. I miss mama and papa, too. B-But they're in a safer, better place now, just like Chief Nuka said. A-A-And what Chief Nuka says has to be right.
H-Hey! Don't talk about Indigo like that, Sighna! What do you know?
I-Indigo? Where are you going? Indigo...?
The "main" Deity that takes on the form of a ram - lion hybrid; basically the God of the Deties. They need a strong, mystic voice with a strong source of authority.
Silence, all of you! What is the meaning of this violence?
Oydis, Fulbright, back away. Saigon, straighten up and explain your motives.
That's enough! Saigon, keep watch over the travelers tonight. You two, come with me. Oydis, go retrieve Indigo and spread the news to her.
