Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni REDUB (Character Needed ASAP!)
Project Overview
Yes, I know they're two casting calls, however, I don't think I did a good job at the last CastingCall.
What is this project?
This is a redub of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, a Japanese murder mystery show. Keichii has already been casted by a very talented voice actor, so I need the other characters to be voiced.
What's Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni about?
Higurashi (Or When they cry) is about a boy named Keichii Maebara who moves into the peaceful village of Hinamizawa and becomes friends with a group of children who're a club.
The story takes place in arcs, they start off light and fluffy with everyone dancing, chatting and playing games, then suddenly, the Cotton Drifting Ceremony arrives. After that point the anime turns into a horror show with death, blood and gore until the arc ends up with most of the characters dead.
It's a very well done anime which confuses the watcher and doesn't throw you into the action after one episode!
What genre is this show?
It's a supernatural horror and thriller.
Now that I went through all of that, let me go through some things.
I don't enjoy pushing people or putting others through stress, I'm quite laid back, so if you have a disability that hinders time management, acting, and so on. Don't worry about doing this project (I have ADHD and Autism, so I understand!)
Audition if you feel good about your acting, if not then practice. There's no need to rush things!
Make sure you watch the anime prior to auditioning.
Everyone is a little nuts in this show, so don't be shocked when you come across quite some bloody scenes.
Make sure you actually have time to do this.
When acting, do your best to show all of the emotions and let their personality take over.
In your audio, look out for, peaking/Clipping, background noise, pops and clicks before submitting. If you do experience some of these issues, I suggest using Audacity to edit them out.

For Rika, I'm looking for an innocent, childlike voice, but also, a deep, adult female voice.
Rika is an adult in a child's body, she pretends to be a happy, cheerful ten year old, while in reality, she's an adult stuck in a child's body.

"No! I won't let you pass me!" (Audition for this part in both voices for me to see how good you are at shouting / Protective/Yelling)
I'm looking for a teenaged, boy-girl like voice for Mion.
"Morning, it took you long enough old man." (Cocky/Sassy)
"I won't let you touch my friends!" (Protective)
"Yes, you deal with the situation over there. Make sure you silence everyone." (Serious/Grownup)
I'm looking for a higher pitched, girly voice for Shion with a creepy laugh.
She's Mion's twin sister.
"I'm out, I hate this school! I'm leaving and never coming back!" (Proud/Determined)
"I admit it! I'm in love with him! Does it matter who you fall in love with? You can't chose!" (Creepy/Laughing)
"I'll slit your belly open right here and now!!!" (Yelling/threatening)
I'm looking for a high-pitched, child's voice.
"Nii-Nii! Nii-Nii! Help me, Nii-Nii!" (Distressed/Sobbing)
"Good Morning! You just got pranked! HA!" (Cheerful)
"Get out of here! This mine and Nii-Nii's house! GET OUT!"
I'm looking for a low-pitched, adult voice.
"I didn't mean to frighten you, are you from Hinamizawa?"
I'm looking for a high-pitched voice with a creepy laugh.
