Project Overview

Hidden Spirits. A small story series online that has been rewritten multiple times by the same person. 


A quick explanation of the series is that it takes place on an island. On this island many people have a Hidden Spirit, the soul of a person outside of their being and being able to fuse with their soul for a short period of time to give them enough energy to fight off the Darkness. 
People of different ages, ethnicities, sexes, genders, sexualities and backgrounds may or may not hold on. At time the soul can be tainted and become a shadow. A shadow can posses another person's own soul and emotions. At first they're a Haunted, simple enough. At this time they'll be in an unmoving state at they hallucinate their deep darkest fears. Once their souls are consumed fully, the Shadow shall kill the person. It may be slow, it may be quick but death is certain. Of course, those with a Hidden Spirit may save the person before time runs out. But at times, they can not. 

There are many more details but that is all that I'll share.

Gwi-Jae. She's in high school but doesn't really want to be there. She's very sleep deprived and is an insomniac, stays up late playing video games. 

She has two fathers, so yeah she's adopted. And is best friends with her neighbor Geroi, an armless Russian who is bitter person. 
Making jokes and puns are her speciality and she loves doing dumb things like dares and pretty much doing stuff Geroi tells her not to do. 
A protective friend and a student who sleeps in class. 

  • "Hey Geroi, think I can fit this entire jaw Breaker into my mouth?" {Honestly, something I know she'd ask her friend. She's probably on her day off and is super bored} 

  • "Just let me and my boobs be in pain for a little longer..." {She got kicked in the boobs. So yeah, try to sound like you're in pain and just woke up} 

  • "Okay. Listen you pile of unwanted flesh. Say shit about me. I don't give a fuck. Say shit about Geroi then we got a fucking problem that your dumbass can not fix unless you let me disfigure with face." {Ahaha,,, a protective friend. Sound threatening and ready to kill whoever insulted your best bud.}

Geroi Zima. A short Russian male who is friends with Gwi-Jae Choi, moved to the island from Russia with his single mother. He hates his prosthetic arms and will not wear them, which he often doesn't. 


A very bitter person and is a bit of a little bitch. He's really good at kicking and has calves ready for the market. Never skips leg day. 

He can be nice, well actually no. He can't but he can fake it. Hardly smiles and looks ready to kill whatever decides to annoy him. How Gwi-Jae is still alive is a mystery to all. 

  • "I may have no arms. But I can still kick you." {Probably saying this to anyone but most likely Gwi-Jae who made a dumb pun. So sound annoyed.}

  • "...Gwi-Jae...little help here... I, uhm... Stuck." {Probably a messed up bully of his put him up in a tree and he can't get down. Sound awkward and done with this shit.}

  • "No! I won't wear the prosthetic arms! And you can't make me!" {He really hates wears the arms. So sound like a tiny brat arguing behind a closed door.}

Surpsingly he isn't from Europe. He's from Washington, USA. But his great grandparents were from Europe so yeah. Vice president of the student council and a person who really dislikes the Korean Gwi-Jae. 


Always on top of everything and never late to anything. He likes to have things organized and in place and will not take mediocrity. In other words, he's a perfectionist. 

He's nice to everyone but Gwi-Jae and Geroi, the two males are rivals for their grades. Geroi is winning and Fredi hates that. 

  • "...I hate you so much Gwi-Jae." {Aha, he really dislikes the female. So sound tired and done with her shit.}

  • "Perfect grades like always~ Don't see that idiot Choi anywhere~ Today is a good day!" {A happy man he is. A sing song voice is in order here.}

  • "Early is on time. On time is late. And late is unacceptable. This is something I live by and you should too." {He's probably saying it to someone who was a minute or two late. This a a simple man but hard to please.}
    Bonus! Make his sound flusteredly cause Gwi-Jae made a sex joke!
