Project Overview
IGNORE THE DEADLINE, THIS WILL BE ACTIVE FOR A WHILE!
This is just my original story that I've been working on. I'd like to see it become an animated series, but due to lack of time and resources it's been put on the backburner for a minute. This is mostly for new VA's or anyone who wants to practice voices with very specific criteria. All of these characters are my own and hopefully if I do go through with making it a series, I can pick some of the people who audition here! (Or just republish this same thing...) If this turns out well then I'll add more roles. Feel free to critique each other!
This story does contain vulgar language and adult themes. This story also includes same sex couples so keep that in mind for now and the future of this project.
Plot:
Rose moves in with a family friend (Cassie), her best friend from high school (Chaz) and her girlfriend (Cyn) after losing her parents in a failed burglary. While finding information about her estranged parents, Cassie discovers a portal to another land called Haven where balance is being disrupted by a psychotic spirit named Caos.
Rules:
If you're chosen for this project, there'll be a few rules I'll need you to follow. They're not hard so please try to keep these rules in mind when auditioning/casted.

1. You need Skype to be a part of this project. It's how I'll be relaying information to the cast and crew. I will take emails too if you can't communicate through Skype. -
2. Please respect deadlines! Chances are I'll give you more than enough time to record or send me files. -
3. Communicate! (Sort of ties into the previous and next rule) I'm a very understanding person. If you need an extension, tell me. If you have a lot going on and can't be part of the project anymore, let me know. If you have something that you want to contribute to a script or anything, please pass it on! We're a team and if we work together, we'll get some quality content out there! -
4. Please be committed to this project! I'm planning on keeping this running as long as I can so I can't have people dropping left and right. I'm a very understanding person and I get that things come up and the unexpected may happen but please just keep this in mind.

Rose is a soft, caring, and gentle girl. She's slow to anger and doesn't hold grudges or anything. She's of Spanish/Native American descent so if you wanna give her an accent you're more than welcome to. If this were to become an actual project and you didn't want to curse or anything, this would be your best bet.

(Thinking) Where was all this confidence before? I can’t have been nervous...can I? I mean, there’s no reason for me to be. I mean sure she has a bunch of tattoos and scary piercings but this girl is tiny! If anything happens I could dropkick her like nothing. (giggles)
Ok I know for a fact this chick just cut up a man with a tomahawk. A TOMAHAWK FOR CHRIST’S SAKE! What makes her think I’m going anywhere with her? At that moment I did what anyone would do. I started packing. Let’s blame it on the emotional trauma. She may be a psychopath, but I don’t really have any options here.
(Scared) Something's not right here...
(Sad/Upset) What am I going to do? I have no family to turn to and I can’t live on my own. I’m not mentally ready yet!
(Scared) OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT?
(Comforting) Its ok Roy, the last thing you need to be doing is straining yourself. Take as long as you need.

Medium/Low husky, super raspy, "I Smoke 15 Cigarettes a Day", voice. (Ex: Lauren Jauregui from Fifth Harmony, Artemis from Young Justice, Lo from Stoked, Bonnie from Family Guy)
Where do you think you’re going? After the mall I’m taking him to work with me. It isn’t safe for you to be there.
(Angry) Roy what the fuck just happened? What did that thing do to Rose?
Yeah, yeah, I’m right behind you.

(Shocked/Concerned) I thought you were dead or something! Don’t ever fucking drop off the face of the universe like that ever again do you fucking hear me?

Eventually pursues a relationship with Kerri, and recruits his sister, Vera, to work with them.

(Sad) She was so happy to find her mom...that she forgot to ask about her dad.

Cassie’s girlfriend, Kerri’s best friend, and advocate for the group is anyone is in legal trouble. Loud, confident, and has a short temper. Especially with Cassie and Chaz.
Medium/High Voice, seductive and husky. Also Spanish so if you want to throw the accent in for her or just for her Spanglish, go for it!
Who exactly are you going to do that with? You can’t do it with Rose, you’re her guardian and she doesn’t go that way. Chaz is out of the option too since the two of you are the best of friends.
(Sarcastic) Yikes. You’d like that wouldn’t you?
(Playful) Because he’s a cop, Roy. Subjugation is sort of their thing.
(Shocked) They really don’t have this where you’re from?
(Thoughtful then deadpan) I mean we could…if you weren’t sleeping on the couch tonight. Fuck a shrub.
Alright Reynolds. Rose, I gotta go now. I have a trial to win and a potential homecoming party to set up for you and the others.

Nothing to specific about his voice, maybe a British accent if you can but don't force it if you don't think it sounds right. But almost always sounds arrogant.

(Scared and rushed) I am Shen, the prince of this land. My father is the king. We worship the High Mother and our people have been trying to live in peace for the past 19 years.

A Havenite born as an angel that is earthbound. Was given the job as the Keeper of the High Mother after being seen saving a child as the cost of his wings. He has shown a great liking to humans and human culture after spending time with the High Mother.
Medium/Low voice (think of Genos from the One Punch Man english dub), speaks in broken English. British accent if you can but don't force it if you don't think it sounds right.
(Serious pronounce as Ay-ver-in) Averin as keeper of the High Mother I shan’t allow you to harm her in any way.
(Apologetic) Pardon my ignorance. I failed to remember that you do not know how to speak the tongue of Haven.
(In awe) That’s Nakuset (Nah-koo-set), the solar spirit. One of the spirits at the High Mother’s disposal.
We have to get her to the High Mother.
(Winded) Please bear with me. My magic isn’t as strong on Earth so it may take a few attempts to get there.
(Confused) Why is he settling for subjugation? He could have easily been killed.

(Surpirsed/Intrigued) What? Really? Where is she?

an entire new wardrobe, walking around money, a steady source of income and a
phone to stay connected with you at all times. Think of him as a new roommate that is 100% dependent on you.
I’m sure you can handle that.”
(Defeated to Alert) “It seems as though I
have to tell you the truth in its entirety.” She paused, “Cassandra and
Kerrigan’s father, your adoptive grandfather, my husband is—Nakuset! (Na-koo-set)

(Sarcastic to unfazed) “Hello there, sunshi—How disappointing.”

When I first started planning this series I pictured it looking like some sort of Final Fantasy/Square Enix cutscene level type of quality, but I know you can't really get those kind of animators for free so any type of animation will do. Preferably 3D but I'll take what I can get.
