quality
- no background noise or fans
- no displaceable objects that can move and be picked up by the mic
- minimal hiss (if the hiss is too loud when recording, lower the mic volume)
- do not record directly in front of the mic, place the mic off axis
- either 32-bit .wav or 320 bps .mp3
voice
- no dairy products half an hour prior to recording
- stay hydrated to reduce mouth noise and tongue clicks while recording
- avoid slash breaths (if you need to take a breath, leave a noticeable pause between sentences)
