HatsWearingCats: Amnesty Island

HatsWearingCats: Amnesty Island

Project Overview

One island, ten friends, two factions. On the hidden Amnesty Island, ten friends are forced to survive, but when they begin to disagree on common rules it quickly drives them apart. This ultimately leads to lies, laughs, deception, and war. Who will come out on top? Who will sink?

Hello, I am Golden the producer of a new machinima series called 'HatsWearingCats: Amnesty Island'. HWC: Amnesty Island is a spinoff of my main series on my channel called, well, HatsWearingCats. However, in HWC: Amnesty Island  I take a much more cinematic approach by detailing the events of the "Civil War" so to say. The biggest "gimmick" of this series, besides the cinematic approach, is the fact that everything that happens, did indeed happen at some point. So it is basically a cinematic retelling of everything.

There will be four phases in this production.

Phase 1: Rewatching all the content and taking notes on important plot points.
Phase 2: Editing the audio down and scripting most of the vocal lines needed.
Phase 3: Filming the actual content (this is after all of the vocals are finished)
Phase 4: Editing and release.

Currently, I am in Phase 1, re-watching all of the video footage (24 hours worth of content) to see what will be in each episode. I plan on finishing this phase by December 10th, at that point, I will begin the scripting and editing down of the content. My projected release date for this project is May-June 2018.

Fairly serious, deep-ish voice. Think of this whole production as a "war documentary" you can either take it completely seriously or have a tinge of sarcasm to your words (think Ron Howard from Arrested Development as a basis for sarcasm) Whichever makes for a better character in your eyes, you do it. I'd refrain from heavy accents as it'd make it hard to understand the narration.

  • But even the most secluded crevices of the earth find someway to change by the touch of man. And, of course, Amnesty Island is no exception.

  • A place that they can, assuredly, call home.

  • The Scorched Scott Woods, one of the only remaining biomes currently left unaffected by the Tony Vs Kek conflict.
