Project Overview

Welcome to the casting call for Hamilton: The Virtual Musical!  This will be a long-running project involving covering the iconic songs from the popular musical Hamilton. (pretty self-explanatory, right?)  There are only a few requirements to take part in this project!


RULES/REQUIREMENTS:

1.  Please be familiar with the show!  While we won't be doing any of the lines from the script, I expect cast members to at least know the music and story for/of the roles they audition for.

2. Roles other than ensemble must be 14 or older!  I hate to make roles exclusive, but due to the content of the show, no one younger than 14 may audition for lead characters.

3. Please have a Discord so we can communicate and share files!  It makes everything so much easier!

4. Please audition either a cappella (without music) or with the INSTRUMENTAL track playing lightly in the background!  If you aren't familiar with mixing music and vocals, though, just record a cappella!

(Side note: I would really like roles that are played by one actor in the original, such as Laurens and Phillip, to only be played by one person in this production.  That being said, if you blow me away with one single character, I may make exceptions.)

    Hey y'all! So, tomorrow night I will be casting roles, but I did some moving-around of characters (such as people being casted for roles they didn't necessarily audition for). So, I'll also be posting the cast list as an update so you can see who will be playing which role! I am so excited to begin working. Remember, you still have a day and a half to get your auditions in, so get 'em done ASAP! Love you guys!
