Project Overview

Grim Trigger is my original interactive comic series about a resistance movement in a magical universe! 

I am currently only finding voices for chapter/book 8's script, so it's kind of like a one-off comic dub sorta thing- I'm not asking you to voice these characters forever or anything like that :D

I have a big ol' document with the script and more information about the characters which you can see here! 

I'm really lax on any sort of deadlines. As long as it's done, I'm cool! And since it's a webcomic that updates in increments, you'd only have to turn in lines per update (so you wouldn't have to do everything all at once!)

It's pronounced like "stage" minus the s ;D
Tage is a big depressed loser that hates people, so I imagine him with a sort of nasally voice- but not too much like a cartoon nerd. Just a lil awkward. His voice probably frequently cracks. He's also a big smartass, yet he still has horrible self esteem. He's real relatable. 

  • Hah, wait, me? You think I'm some sort of strategy master?

  • Aw, gross. I forgot about the horrible group challenges. 

  • Huh. Wow. What did we get ourselves into, Hunter?

Hunter's a real happy-go-lucky, optimistic dude that doesn't think before acting. He has a tendency for mood swings, though- if you piss him off, he can go from sweet and kind to scarily violent in a second. He's pretty dramatic and over the top and... he likes to yell a lot about stupid stuff. Inspired by Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho ;P

  • I don't like playing it safe like this! It's boring and predictable!

  • Uh, I just beat up a guy for Tage last night!

It's pronounced like load in :D

Lodin tries just a little too hard to sound formal and polite. He doesn't use contractions and tries to find fancy words for everything. Lodin's just really awkward in general. With that said, I still imagine his voice bein kinda gruff, though! Even though he's kinda girly, Lodin prides himself on being a gentleman. 

  • I see your point, Proxy. I suppose that we do not have anything to lose!

  • I am not going to make the same mistake twice. I think that we should choose a number with a higher probability.
