Project Overview

All those who take place in this project, main role of just saying one line will be credited and be given proper recognition, and auditioning for more than one character is completely fine and encouraged,

This is a project called Green Arrow - Archer's Duel. It's a one-shot based around the Green Arrow chasing the archer Komodo around a public building of some description.

This takes place in a mix of the comic Star City and Arrow's Star City, along with their continuity. In this world Komodo is the one who sabotaged the Queen's Gambit instead of Merlyn, and for the 3 years Oliver's been back, he's been chasing Komodo all around Star City and has just finally caught up with him. After Oliver has been operating as Green Arrow for a year he found Komodo working with the Underground Men and the human trafficking. Oliver attempted to put Komodo down then before Komodo revealed he knew who Green Arrow was under the hood, also revealing he was the reason the Queen's Gambit went down and Robert Queen, Oliver's father, and Komodo hoped Oliver himself.


This will be an audio drama possibly with pictures of those talking, it all depends on if I can be asked to edit that much, and will be uploaded to YouTube, although the channel that gets the upload is under debate right now I will get to those cast and explain what's happening.



No rules are present as this should be a one-shot, although if it does extremely well I may come back and ask people to voice the characters in either a series, or another one-shot focusing around Green Arrow.


If you don't get cast for a specific role you may be contacted to play another role in the project or as a side character

This will take place in the same universe as Constantine the Hellblazer - Fight like Hell so if cast as voice you may be asked to record a line in that if I add anything in that script.

    Real quick I just want to say to people who are rejected from the roles they auditioned for it's nothing personal, I did explain when rejecting why I felt you didn't fit the role and I may ask you to either audition for another character or come and ask for side character lines from you.

Queen was on a boat that got taken down somewhere off the coast of an island, Lian Yu, after 5 years in hell, he returns to Star City with the new goal of protecting it.

Oliver has been chasing Komodo around Star City since the beginning of his second year as the Green Arrow after finding out he was the one responsible for the Queen's Gambit going down and his father's death.

Although this Oliver will crack jokes and such he will take a more serious tone shown off by the Oliver on CW's Arrow.

This version of Oliver is more like his comic Rebirth version, while taking things from the Arrow TV show. Oliver's been back in Star City for 3 years at this point and has done some good for the city.

Since the Oliver in this will be in the Green Arrow suit for pretty much the whole thing a voice-changer can be used as a way to 'mask his voice' but not so much that you sound like a Transformer. I would imagine his base voice sounding something along the lines of Neal McDonough in the Green Arrow DC Showcase or any of Alan Tudyk's performances from Injustice, The Batman or Batman Brave and the Bold, however anything you think of on your own that would fit is perfectly fine.

NOTE - In the third line 'Fyff' is pronounced Fife, like if you say 5 but instead of pronouncing the V you pronounce an F saying 'Fife'

  • (cocky) - Well, I wasn't really expecting to be fighting Storm troopers who forgot how to aim.... No, they could never aim in the first place

  • (Serious) - You've been running for 2 years, and those 2 years you only ran from me.... Komodo. you failed this city

  • (Joking, in pain) - Fyff if you call her in, I'm going to shoot you in the shin

A mercenary from Sainte-Sophie, Quebec Simon went on to become Robert Queen's protege, traveling with him on multiple business trips and expeditions. One of these expeditions was to seek a totem that granted enlightenment. As Simon wanted the enlightenment he, with the help of another unknown individual sabotaged the Queen's Gambit, killing Robert Queen and, he thought, Oliver Queen. Once Oliver has returned and the Green Arrow started his operations Simon knew he would be a target and started to flee from the opposing archer.

Komodo is the main antagonist of the one-shot and will have a decent amount of lines so high cooperation is key since I believe anything happening that has a villain needs a good villain to be deemed as a success.

Same mask situation with Oliver applies to Komodo. Since Komodo has only appeared in Arrow Season 3 episode 'Sara' portrayed by Matt Ward, something similar to that would be nice, however due to the character not being in main stream media that much anything you feel would fit the character is perfectly fine.

  • (Angered) - My luck had to run out at some point.

  • (Intimidating) - DON'T LET HIM WALK OUT OF THIS ALIVE! THAT'S AN ORDER!

  • (Calm, slightly threatening) -I guess now we see who the superior archer truly is, Queen.

Fired member of Queen Consolidated, personally fired by Oliver Queen. After Queen started his crusade Oliver went to Fyff personally asking for his help, revealing to him his identity as the Green Arrow. After that Fyff chose to help Oliver in his crusade against Star Cities crime while taking hacking jobs on the side.

This character will appear as the tech guy Oliver has watching his back throughout the short, he has a few conversations but never saying more than a sentence or two at one time before being interrupted.

This character hasn't appeared in any main stream media outside the comics, so any performance would be nice to see, however if you want some directions I imagine him sounding something like Sean Maher's Nightwing from the current DC NEW 52 string of animated movies or Troy Baker's Dick Grayson Nightwing from Injustice: Gods Among Us,

  • (Concentrating) - One second, I'm working on a contract.

  • (Sarcastic) - Did you just stab him in the leg for no reason?

  • (Slightly scared, serious) - Sorry Ollie, I'm calling someone in to help, you need it

These are just side characters that have one or two lines each, mostly police and thugs. All in one role just to make it easier meaning multiple people will be cast for this role. You may be asked to record for more than one character if I message you about the role so please be prepared for that.


Use any voice you can and try and make the three lines sound like different people are saying them if you can.
