Hey everyone, we’re back! This is a casting call for a comic dub/fandub of the official Genshin Impact comics. This is being produced by me and Javachipbusiness, and we are looking for voice actors to be a part of this project!
About the project:
This project is a fandubbing of the official Genshin Impact comics by Mihoyo. Right now we are casting for Chapter 2, which will be the last chapter in our Genshin Manga dub series! No knowledge of the game is needed, just know there might be small character spoilers. The manga currently follows a different story than the game, and features characters not in the game.
For Chapter 2, the final video may be broken into two parts (depending on the final length). Either way, we are casting for all the Chapter 2 characters however, and will be working on part 2 simultaneously with part 1.

Guidelines:
1) Mics with little to no background noise
2) 2-3 takes per line and no slating is preferred, however your audition will still be considered.
3) Keep in mind deadlines! We would like a turnaround time of 2 weeks after casting for lines. If you need deadline extensions that’s ok, just please let us know! We would like to stay as on top of things as possible.
4) Have fun! This is a passion project to have fun making and being a part of a project. We do however plan to handle it as professionally as possible. :)

-We plan to communicate through discord. If you’d like to take part but not work through discord though we can work something out!
-Some characters may need to scream, yell, or shout, and most characters have additional battle or action grunts. Please be prepared to do so if needed.
-While not required, it is recommended to read through the chapter beforehand, which you can find here: https://genshin.mihoyo.com/en/manga
-Characters found in the chapter that aren’t listed here were cast prior
A well respected captain of the Knights of Favonious. Jean is very dedicated to her work, taking her job very seriously. She speaks with leadership, but is also friendly.

(standard commanding) Prepare to move out!
(reporting the situation, slightly regretful) Two dead envoys and fifteen wounded, despite being escorted by the Ordo Favonius.
An older Fatui diplomat. Speaks rather rude and short. Doesn’t think very highly of the knights of favonious.
(irritated/gossiping) I can’t believe our entire team had to be withdrawn. I need to have a good reason for this.
(panicked) The door… Gah! It’s too hot! I can’t get it to open! Try your side!
*scream of fear/pain/dying* Gaaaaahhh!
An older Fatui diplomat. Gossips with the nobleman about the Knights and current situation.
You better not ask. Dotorre must have it planned out, and he prefers it when people do as they’re told.

A pretty regular, nice guy just doing his job as a guard. Is hesitant and concerned about letting a sick kid into the city.
(straightforward/polite) Woah kid! The city gate is under curfew! You’ll need to wait to enter Mond.
(sympathetic but firm) Sorry, Kid. We can’t let you through this place. Try your luck somewhere else.
A pretty regular, nice guy just doing his job as a guard. Dissuades Guard 1 from letting a sick kid into the city. Talks in a whispered/hushed tone.
(concerned) Dude, this girl looks as though she has the plague!
(firm) I know you’re a nice guy, but we can’t risk having the disease spread across the city!
