Project Overview

Hello, everyone!
I've done a few 'story time' readings on my YouTube channel, long, long ago. They were decent, but this time, I want to make something great! So, I want to focus more so on the editing portion of it, and less on voicing. That being the case, I'm looking for some people to voice the different roles for the story I found on Reddit. I will be posting the finished product on my channel, to which I will be sure to share, and credit all voice actors. If you want me to credit to you with a link to something other than your Casting Call Club profile, please let me know when I have chosen you, for a role.

Every 'story time' episode I do will have different voice actors. So, this won't be a long time project for anyone. You can expect you'll only have to work on lines regarding to this one story, unless you audition for future stories, and are chosen for those roles.

Please, have your lines recorded in a timely fashion. I'm a patient person, but I would like to have a story time episode out at least once a week. That being said, I'm hoping to get these recordings a few days after voice actors are chosen, at most.

You'll need:


  • - High quality audio


  • (No hissing, popping, background noises, etc.)

    • - Good emotion
    (Don't be completely monotone. Have some feeling!)

  • Intro

    So, I'm very happy with all the voice actors that are helping me with this project. I've been editing through a lot of the video, and it all sounds really good! Thank you guys, so much! Here is a little teaser intro that will be in the beginning of the video, just to get you guys as hyped as I am~ Once I have all the lines in from everyone, I can really delve in and complete this video. This character will have the biggest role in the reading. They will be narrating the entire story. Due to the genre of the story, I'm hoping for a very calm and yet haunting type of voice.

  • I managed to get almost three episodes in before I started to nod off. I
    checked the clock over the TV and sighed. It was only just after eleven;
    was I really turning into an old, early-to-bed woman/man already? The
    horror! I rolled off the couch and shut off the tv and all the lights,
    plunging the house into a deep darkness.

  • "I'll be fine, don't worry! You're only going for a week."  {Assuring}

  • I let out a small chuckle and gave myself a little shake to dismiss the lingering fright that he'd caused and picked him up.

    "Did you fall off the shelf?" I asked him quietly. I must have put
    him back too close to the edge earlier and gravity had done its duty.

This is one of the stuffed bears that the narrator is given after one of their grandfathers die. Their grandfather's voice plays through a voice box inside the bear.
