Fox and Salior (SHORT AUDIO STORY)
Project Overview
Fox and sailor is a short story I wrote, inspired by folk tales and other short stories. It follows the view of a cruel leader fox and the only predator on his island but one day salior mouse decides he wants to build his home right in the middle of the island fox is not up for this but after his failed attempts to stop sailor mouse karma hits him back and he is knocked down from his leadership.
REQUIRMENTS:
-must be 12 or older to audition

The Narrator is like any other Narrator, be prepared for this is the role with the most lines
For the voice, I don’t really have anything particularly in mind so do what you think would fit! I’m open to seeing your take of each character
Once upon a time on an island a mouse named sailor arrived on his yacht to a small island...
The unique thing about this island is there is only 1 predator on the whole island, Fox! Fox was a fierce and cruel leader, She dined on prey mercilessly eating out of boredom and fun. SHe terrorized the prey to treating her like royalty
So Fox set off to make a new trap, this time taking a whole new approach (pause) oh what am I kidding, she took a horrible new approach
Sailor Mouse is a charming type, he’s perfect in a sense and quite like able, his desire in the story is to build his new home and not let anyone stop him, he believes in justice and not cruelty. Although he may seem perfect he has a high ego and is quite bias he doesn’t know how see an argument from the other side and isn’t willing too either. It shows up in the story as hypocritical, even though he doesn’t believe in cruelty or violence at all he uses cruelty by banishing fox from eating prey and making him a servant to all prey wich he needs to eat prey in order to survive so overall it’s violence too as is eventually fox will die oh no!
For his voice I’m imaging a higher voice a bit mocking in a way it’s hard for me to explain but if you have any ideas of what you think he should sound like I would love to hear your take on the character

The fox believes that she should get everything she wants and will do anything to stay in power. She is kind of dumb though
Voice: low sneering voice but your welcome to try out a voice you think fits!
what?! How did he do that impossible! I’ll have to set a new plan for that pesky rodent!
Oh so that little guy thinks he’s as sly as a fox ay? Well I’ll show him who’s leader around here!
