Project Overview

Welcome to the casting call of Fire Emblem: Ultimatum!


Fire Emblem: Ultimatum: 

An interactive series in the format of a fleshed out Visual Novel. Ultimatum will tell an original story based on the events of Fire Emblem: Three Houses to re-imagine the lore and provide the viewer with a new story filled to the brim with twists and turns. Viewers will be instructed to jump to specific points of each video in order to make decisions that will affect the course of the story and personalize their viewing experience. 

This Visual novel will be an on-going Youtube series. A teaser for the start of the series has already been produced and is provided here, I recommend taking a look at the teaser for a better understanding of what this series is going to be.

For auditions: I am looking for people that can manage a good impression of the character they are auditioning for. Original interpretations of the characters are always welcome (of course!), but a convincing impression of the original voice will be prioritized for final decisions!

IMPORTANT NOTES:


  1. Knowledge on Fire Emblem: Three Houses is NOT required.

  2. You may audition for as many roles as you wish!

  3. Please provide THREE takes for each line.

  4. There will be some original characters unique to Fire Emblem: Ultimatum that you can audition for if you cannot perform impressions!

  5. There are no specific requirements for equipment, please just ensure your audio is clear (USB/XLR mic equivalent)

  6. You will be required to join a Discord server. Please include a Discord tag along with your audition, or you may privately add me if you do not want to publicize your tag. (Tag provided below).

  7. This is a LONG TERM project. If cast, you will likely be involved for the foreseeable future. This may seem harsh, but PLEASE  only audition if you know you can dedicate yourself to a long term project. As much as I understand that life can be unpredictable at times, projects tend to fall apart when voice actors suddenly disappear or become unavailable.

  • Deadline coming up!

    A big thanks to everyone who has auditioned for this project! We have now surpassed 300 auditions, which is absolutely incredible. This is a reminder that this casting call will close on October 5th. No further auditions will be considered from this date and onward. The casting for each role will also take place on the 5th. Verdandi will be the major antagonist of Fire Emblem: Ultimatum. Some details cannot be given due to spoilers, but Verdandi is a young child with an immeasurable amount of power and influence. She is similar to Sothis in both character and voice type.

She is manipulative, overly cheerful, and calculating. Her voice should be high-pitched and menacing. She sees the events of Ultimatum as some simple board game, and her voice reflects this dangerous playfulness. Every line should be bursting with energy.

  • "Oh, is it finally time to begin?! Ugh, I've been waiting for this moment for-ev-er. If I have to wait any longer, I'm going to explode! Now then...which piece should I move first...?"

  • (Gleeful) *laughter* "I've been imagining what your look of despair would be for so long, but absolutely nothing can beat the real thing! Oh, it's just so...delicious."

  • (Annoyed) "Why do you insist on tying yourself down with these so-called 'bonds' anyway? I gave you a world where you could do anything, and this...THIS is what you choose to do with it?!"

Castor is one half of the Twins and a protagonist of Fire Emblem: Ultimatum. He is a mysterious individual hailing from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, who seems eager to keep his past a secret. Castor is stoic, emotionless, and extremely attached to his twin sister. While he has shown little to no emotion for most of his life, he gradually begins to show more and more of a budding personality, much to the surprise of his sister. 

He will show interest in the main protagonist and often bother them. His voice should be emotionless, deadpan, but with a hint of snark and mockery.

Pollia is one half of the Twins and a protagonist of Fire Emblem: Ultimatum. She is a mysterious individual hailing from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, who seems eager to keep her past a secret. Pollia is stoic, emotionless, and extremely attached to her twin brother. In time, she starts to grow somewhat concerned as her brother shows signs of developing emotions similar to other people, while she ultimately stays the same.

She will show interest in the main protagonist and often bother them. Her voice should be emotionless, deadpan, but with a hint of snark and mockery.

(Original character)

Zinovia is a supporting character in Fire Emblem: Ultimatum. She is a retired bishop of the Church of Seiros and a close friend of Rhea's, in her retirement she appears to be interested in counselling the folks at Garreg Mach Monastery. She is relaxed,  nosy, and a tease to most people that she interacts with. It seems that she and Rhea share some history together, but it's been carefully hidden from the public eye. Zinovia often hints at such a past to people she wishes to tease, much to Rhea's annoyance.

This character should sound like a middle-aged woman, with a hint of a seductive, teasing voice.

Revered by many as a wise and thoughtful King, Lambert rules over the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus with the hopes that his son will soon take the throne. He senses hesitation in his son and tries his best to keep him walking down the correct path. Lambert also has trouble sleeping at times, and can find himself suffering from sleep deprivations, as his sleep is plagued with nightmares of being burnt inside white-hot flames created by a shadowy figure hiding in a veil of darkness.

His voice should be medium to medium-low, confident, and full of charisma.
