Incredibly vain and arrogant, always claiming herself superior to others and referring to herself as "The hope of Bern". Even if the odds are placed unfavorably in the enemy's favor, she claims that she will prevail despite the circumstances. Despite her vanity, however, she carries a deep loyalty to the royalty of Bern, Zephiel in particular, and places her comrades and Bern above everything else, even her honor.
"(Cruel, confident) C’mon, boy! Scream! Call your friends to you! I grow weary of waiting. I am not known for my patience!!!
"Line 2: "(Introspective, passionate, resolute) Yes, I will probably die. Is that what you mean to say? But Prince Zephiel’s life is worth the price. And so I will return to Bern. No matter what it takes."
Eliwood's father, and much like him, but more mature and more world weary. Upon his imprisonment in the Dread Isle for his quintessence to be used to call forth dragons, aiding Nils and Ninian is the one thing that keeps him committing suicide.
(Denouncing, yelling) I will not let you move unopposed!
(Disappointed) Lord Darin...You're already lost.
(Weak, pleading) Eliwood… Turn back… Take the girl and flee… …Please……
Well-spoken, uptight, chivalrous, mature beyond his years.
A knight in service to house Caelin. Virtuous to a fault, has no patience for tomfoolery. Can get work done efficiently, but struggles when emotions are involved. Respectable and dependable, almost Sain's opposite.
(Outraged, disbelief) Traitors? Us? Ridiculous!
(Thoughful, doubtful) We're seen as betrayers of our kinghtly vows. Our word mean nothing. No, our only hope is to speak with Marquess (Mar-kwes) Cealin (Kay-lin) directly.
(Annoyed, eye-rolling) You will never change, will you? You should think more of the needs of our whole group, instead of rushing off into the fray like a berserker!
Soft-spoken, elegant, but with hidden strength
Prince of Bern. Kind, wise and gifted beyond his years. Loves his half sister Guinivere, and is more hurt by his father denying he she her than his father denying his birthright. In the face of his family's turmoil, his sole wish was for his family to overcome the bitterness and hatred, and come together to live in happiness. Determined to meet what he perceives to be the lofty expectations of his father (which is in fact jealousy of what he already has).

A spy in the service of Ositia. In a relationship with matthew, and shares his sardonic and optimistic attitude. Despite this she is careful and cautious, like a spy should be, keeping a silent aura about herself when on the job. Can be calm and collected under pressure.
(Miffed, but amused) As slippery as ever… Didn’t even wait for my reply.
(Shocked, then with a sense of urgency) I can’t believe it’s come to this. I must inform Lord Hector of these events…
(Matter-of-fact, slightly sardonic) We’re spies, Matthew. Everything we do is dangerous.
