The Gameplay footage for this episode will be provided by my old late friend SaikyoMog. In this episode after falling from a Waterfall in the previous episode Sumo wakes up in the town of Ish where he is reunited with his old ally Bogard who is injured and bedridden and being taken care of by a woman named Sarah. Dr. Bowow, the town’s resident inventor aids Sumo by giving his Chocobo some robotic enhancements by turning his Chocobo into a cyborg namely Chocobot. The Chocobot can travel through water being even more useful to Sumo as he heads to places such as the Snowy Castle of Lorim and the like.
(Note: For those who originally played Sumo, Bogard, Cibba & Wendel Girl you are welcomed to try the roles again if you wish.)
Voice Type: Moderate, Heroic, Youthful, Kind
Bio: The Hero and sole playable character in the game, Sumo is a young swordsman who was once a gladiator from Vandole. However he has been on a journey as he is trying to save the young maiden Fuji from the forces of evil. While Sumo is a brave and heroic young man but his recent encounter with the villain Julius who kidnapped Fuji in the previous episode makes him question himself and his role as a Gemma Knight.
(Slightly shocked but happy) .. Bogard! How've you been?
(Scared then Melancholy) I can't do this anymore.. I can't do it! I'm not the right one to be the Gemma Knight.
(Angry & Demanding) You do it! You're the Gemma Knight. It's You!
(Shocked & Amazed) Legend?! The Excalibur?!
(Eager for Adventure) Let's go Chocobot!
(Calm but firm) It's too cold for you ahead. Wait for me here.
Voice Type: Moderately Low, Gruff, Elderly, Wise, Heroic
Bio: An elderly man who was once a known Gemma Knight in his youth. He was last seen in Episode 2 when he and Sumo stormed the Airship in which they were separated and he landed in Ish. But sadly he did not arrive unscathed as he has been bedridden with a broken back as the woman by the name of Sarah is taking care of him. While Sumo is beginning to lose faith in himself, Bogard never lost faith in the boy. But while Sumo’s reunion with him does get a little rocky at one point he is still very much Sumo’s ally.
(Strained but relieved) I was thrown from the ship.... But Sarah picked me up and saved me. I'm glad to see you again, Sumo.
(Surprised but is trying to be authoritative) Come on! You must stand.
(Angry at Sumo Audition Line 3) ... Shut up! .. GET OUT!!..
(Calmed down and relieved) I knew you would do it.
(Firm & Authoritative) Now, listen. It'll be perilous from now on.
(Foreboding but hopeful) Julius has got the power of Mana already. Only match is the Knight with the Legendary Sword.
Voice Type: Moderately Low, Gruff, Middle-Aged, Friendly
Bio: The local inventor at the town of Ish who made some robotic enhancements to Sumo’s Chocobo turning him into Chocobot.
(Excited at a job well done) Phew..! All done! I mechanized his wounded legs. He's fine now! He can even go on water! I named him Chocobot!! How's that?
(Cheering Sumo up) We all rely on you, kid!
(Calm & reassuring) Go talk to Bogard before you leave this town.
Voice Type: Moderate to Moderately Low, Elderly, Wise
Bio: The wise elderly leader of Wendel who was once a Gemma Knight and is an old friend of Bogard’s. Cibba originally appeared in Episode 2 in Wendel but he appears later in this episode in the snowy kingdom of Lorim.
(Calmly giving Directions) Go up the wide river by the Ammonite Coast. Go beyond the Ammonite Coast to Floatrocks.
(Demanding) Use this key at the cave in the Floatrocks!
(Warning Sumo of Danger) The guardian monster has the Legendary Sword.
Voice Type: Moderately Low to Low, Regal, Middle-Aged, Stern
Bio: The King of Lorim Castle, unfortunately when you arrived his people have been frozen thanks to the monster Kary. The King of Lorim is understandably concerned as he tries to get Sumo to free his people as soon as possible.
(Foreboding and dread) Julius has summoned monsters in this world.
(Worried for Cibba & his people) Cibba came, but he's stuck in the other room. It is dangerous to keep them all frozen for long....
(Warm & relieved) Thank you so much. Cibba is waiting in the other room.

Bio: The Weapons/Armor Merchant at Ish village.
(Happy Greeting) Hello! May I help you?

Bio: An old man at Ish who tells you of Dr. Bowow, has only 3 lines.
(Trying to pique curiosity) There is no way to go on water. But, you know..
(Eager & Happy) Dr. Bowow may be able to make something.
(Happily giving directions) He lives in a house over there.
Voice Type: Moderate, Youthful, Calm
Bio: A guy in the town of Ish who tells you about Vandole and its ruins.
(Calm & straightforward) This is Ish.
(Slightly Melancholic) The evil Vandole used to prosper around this area.
(Hopeful) But Gemma Knight with some sword defeated the evil.

Bio: The Inn Keeper at Ish, has only 2 lines.

Bio: A Young Man at Ish who is scared of the monsters in the world, has only 1 line.

Bio: A young man at Lorim Castle who was initially frozen but is later there to greet Sumo, has only one line.

Bio: The Young Woman who has been busy taking care of Bogard ever since he landed in Ish. She was also the one who tells Sumo about Bogard’s condition shortly after Sumo & Bogard get into a little fight.
(Surprised, regarding Ish Child Aud Line 1) Oh, yes.
(Sad & Regretful) He didn't wanna let you know, but.. He can't move for a while for his broken back.
(Sad but hopeful) He was distressed to hear of places being attacked. But he kept saying that there is a boy.. A boy named Sumo will come to save us all..

Bio: A Woman in Ish who talks about Vandole history, has only 2 lines.

(Slightly Impressed to Slightly Sad) They built the great Dime Tower. But it sank....

Bio: A little girl in Wendel who actually had a speaking role in Episode 2 but will actually have different lines in Episode 5, okay only 2 lines in Episode 5 but still.
(Concerned, slightly scared) Lorim was attacked by many monsters. Cibba went there.
(Calm & Friendly) Lorim is south of the Snowfield over the southern sea.
Voice Type: Moderately High to High, Cutesy, Friendly, Energetic, Youthful
Bio: A child in the beginning of the episode who is apparently with Sarah after finding Sumo’s unconscious body and is Sarah’s Nephew or Niece. (The Child is not actually seen in this episode so you can play the role as a little boy or a little girl. And yes if if you like you can do two takes one as a little boy and one as a little girl if you so desire.) But anyways only has 2 lines in the beginning of the episode
