Final Fantasy 7: Warriors of the Planet (fanfic)

Project Overview

The story involves the young 14 year old boy, Tyquiil, being suddenly whisked away from his home after a fire brakes out and soon finds himself in the slums of Midgar. And the only hint of how he can get home is a cryptic message from a cloaked man. As he travels with AVALANCHE he shall change with his experiences, but for better or worse?

This is a fanfiction I did on Final Fantasy 7 and have decided to try and find voice actors for it to be posted on Youtube. It's just a fanfic I wrote involving some OC's that I've thrown into the mix. For this project, I'll need a total of 6 voice actors for the cast. There will be five chapters posted once a month, and there are over 100 chapters total for the story. So if you like Final Fantasy, can be committed to this for several months, and have good mic quality, feel free to try out.

Once the cast has been picked and as the story progresses, I'll inform everyone in the cast about new roles needed and see who is interested, then pick the best for the job. I'll be needing three girls and three boys of course for the cast, sorry if that seems a bit small and limiting. I stress again you need some good quality sound recording, with as little feedback as possible. This will be a key factor with my selection of the cast. I will be handling any narration, and editing of the final product. Make sure when doing your auditions it is in a quiet area. I would like to avoid as much background noise as possible.

  • Deadline push back and character selection so far

    Hey guys, first off want to say thanks for everyone who's auditioned so far for this casting call. However we just aren't up to the full cast required. But for those who have auditioned I thank you and I am happy to say I have made a selection of those thus far for parts. The part of Cloud shall be played by Riku007 Aerith shall be played by anime_warlord As for Red XIII, I would wish for Xero to play this role, but you should check your equipment. Using earbuds your voice can only be heard out of one. If you wish to not lose your standing, please get that fixed. Your voice is just what I'd need so hope you correct that other problem. I'm sorry to everyone else who has auditioned for these parts, but I do appreciate your time. As for the other roles I am still waiting for more auditions for Barret, Yuffie, and Tifa.

20 year old girl who has her share of distaste towards the evil power hungry company, Shinra, and so is a member of the group working against it, AVALANCHE. She has long black hair, light skin, brown eyes and fights with her fists in battle. For this character I need a female voice actor capable of doing some convincing sounds for any fight scenes. Such as any huffs or grunts while she is throwing her punches or takes a hit.

Barret Wallace, a man also burned by the evil touch of the Shinra company. With his gun arm and his group, AVALANCHE, he plans to take revenge for what has happened in his past and save the planet before it falls to this power hungry organization. I imagine Barret being mostly angry and bitter all the time, so if you can keep up that kind of tone with your acting, I say go for it

Aerith is a member of the long thought extinct race called Cetra, also referred to as the Ancients. She meets Cloud by chance in the church in Sector 5 and soon joins AVALANCHE's journey to save the planet from destruction. She is a kind and caring person in this and is basically the most cheerful one around.

Red XIII isn't even human. He is a four legged creatures with fiery red fur and a flame at the end of his tail. Though he was experimented on by Shinra's mad scientist, this is not how he has gained the ability to speak the human tongue.  After being released thanks to AVALANCHE's help, he has also tagged along with them on their journey.  I imagine Red XIII with a Native American accent, this is not preferred, but if you can do it, that'd be great.

  • My father was a coward! When everyone needed him the most, even my mother, he turn and fled! (This is a sore subject for Red, so make him pained or disgusted talking about this)
