Hello everyone!


I NEED ACTORS ASAP FOR THE READ-THROUGH AND EDITING OF THE SCRIPT! IF YOU'RE GOING TO AUDITION, PLEASE DO IT ASAP. MORE ROLES TO COME AS I TIDY UP THE SCRIPT.


My name is Lindie, and I am an amateur playwright and actress, and a full time theatre enthusiast. I've been writing plays since I saw my first one, when I was 8 years old. Most - if not all - of my plays have never seen the light of day, and I've never shared them with anybody else. N e v e r.



Well I've decided to take a risk and put myself out there. Ferocity, is the name of a play I've had on my computer for quite some time, and I decided it would be my best guinea pigs for this whole publishing your work to the world thing.



The play is a two act show, so I estimate the final product will be anywhere around 45 minutes to an hour, so there will be a lot of talking, because this is y'know, a play. Since I can't draw to save my life, this will be strictly audio, though if anybody wants to submit art, they're more than welcome!



I plan to complete this asap, but I will see this all the way through, so deadlines are expected to be met. If you let me know in advance you can't meet deadline, and I will try to set up a new deadline with you. If you fail to meet a deadline without notifying me more than once, you will be cut from this production.



Here is a short summary of ferocity:



Judson is a 26-year-old man who dies as a victim in a bank-robbery. He finds himself in the world of the undecided, a place for people who aren't in heaven or hell. He sees his long-passed mother where he learns he's going to see how he's altered the lives of everyone he's hurt. He can't change it, because you can't change the past. But he gets to relive his last day on Earth.

  • (Waking up, panting, scared): Oh my god… Jesus fuck I’m alive. Th-that nightmare was really realistic, holy shit...So a bank robbery...That's a pretty creative way to die, even for me.

  • This is pointless. I’ve never hurt anybody before. Nuh uh, nobody ever. God, this has to be some type of joke. I can’t be dead I-I-I needed that money! Rachel needed that money!

  • Oh my god...I never knew. WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL ME! (Broken) I could've helped, I-I-I could've- If I helped her...She could...She could...still be alive. (After this, I want a little snippet of your own line! I just want to see your interpretation.

  • (Crying) Judson...We could've been beautiful! We could've had a house, had some kids had a life... But y-you threw it all for way... (Sadness shifts to an angry sadness) AND FOR WHAT? SOME COKE AND A BOTTLE OF RUM? Judson, please...Don't do this.
