ALONE: a Batman Audio Drama (!!FEMALE LEAD & EXTRAS NEEDED!!)
Project Overview
ALONE is an ambitious project by a group of fans with the desire to recreate a story written by the amazingly talentedwbss21 ( with her express permission) in the format of an audio drama.
The Joker once had a life removed from all this, different from what he’d become. But that life was gone, dead. He wasn’t even sure if it had ever been real. That is, until she suddenly appeared, and now everything’s become confused.
With the help of the Batman and a woman from his past, the Joker is forced to come to grips with memories he would rather keep locked away…
WARNING: This story contains mentions of abuse, violence, child abuse, sexual content, mental illness, slurs, medication, and death. I would dissuade anyone who wishes to avoid these topics from auditioning for this project.
Anyone under the age of 18 will not be cast.
Currently, scripts are prepared and a few roles have been cast.
WE ARE IN NEED OF FEMALE EXTRAS! If you audition and are not cast specifically, you will most likely be asked to help with multiple extra voices throughout the project.
GUIDELINES/REQUIREMENTS
1. A good microphone/some editing experience. All files should be mp3 format or wav.
2. Time to commit to the project. there are multiple parts to the story and if cast you will be asked to return as your role does. We would rather not re-cast last minute, so please keep that in mind if you have other responsibilities that might keep you from recording on time.
3. An email and/or Skype with which we can keep in contact.
4. Again, no one under the age of 18 may apply.

News : Thanks Tom. An update on the Joker story, the identity of the mystery witness has been released. Her name is Jeannette Reinking(rain-king). She is a 5'6 blonde woman approximately age 40. If anyone knows her or if she is listening, Gotham PD has asked that they call the number listed to help with the investigation.

Jeannie is the widow of Jack Napier. She is very emotionally strong, but not stern. She's a single mother who has been grieving her husband for fifteen years. Her job forces her to move back to Gotham City, the city that killed her husband and a lot of old memories are drawn out and it's clearly taking a toll on her. She is a passionate woman -- not listless or numb in her grief -- with a drive to fight on and raise her son as well as she possibly can.
(bitter-sweet remembrance) He used to do that all the time. He had these characters he would make up, these different people who he'd pretend to be. He was so theatrical. I always used to tell him he could be a professional actor... but he had trouble around other people. People... for the most part... were mean to Jack.
(anger, disbelief)I thought my husband was dead! Do you honestly think that if I'd had even the slightest inkling Jack was alive, I would've left Gotham? I'm not here because Jack's the Joker, Harley. I'm here because the Joker is JACK. What will it take to get through to you?
