Project Overview
Hey everybody; brand new here! Been hanging 'round the site for a while; the casting section was what FINALLY made myself sign up, lol.
Anyways, I'm currently creating a show.. I'm not sure EXACTLY what it'd be about. It's like "The Simpsons", in the sense that at the core, it's about the main family, but there are other characters that also take center stage. It initially had ties to the "High School Musical" franchise, now, not so much. The show follows 6 main characters; Kevin, Zach, Gabi, Amy, Olivia, and Mikayla.. however, they live in a large town, so there's bound to be an abundance of other characters. They're in high school, but as said prior, it's a big town, so there are other locations (it's not a high school sitcom, let me just say that, lol)... We have yet to work out every little detail, but we're shooting for a Winter 2018 release date for the pilot. What most people find odd about the show, is that some characters are based on real people, some are new, and some are lovingly borrowed from other franchises. I like to think of it as something for everyone; something new and old intertwined. Think "Eddsworld", "The Simpsons", "Drake and Josh" and "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" in a blender. The show is very much a labor of love, done out of my pure love for animation and making people happy.
Some of the characters already have been casted, but will list the ones that still need voices.

Gabriella is quite smart for her age; some, like her little sister, would innocently call her a "teenage prodigy". She's not only one of the school's best math tutors, but also incredibly versatile in her chemisty class. She lacks skills in PHYSICAL chemistry, however, and has always been considered an outcast by all except her step-brother and sister, until she meets new friends. She's shy, nerdy, clumsy, and constantly anxious, but it's okay, because she'll always have her friends to pick her up when she's down.
Um, well, I'm Gabriella; I run the school's tutoring program.. I'm guessing you're the new guy?
Well, welcome to New Mexico! A lot of crazy stuff happens around here, but you'll learn to adapt.

Mikayla is Gabriella's younger sister. We haven't FULLY figured out her character yet, but she has some tomboy traits.. she's more into going outside and playing a game, rather than staying in and getting nails done. She's adenturous, practically fearless, and always ready for some outdoor fun. She can be boastful, which will get her in trouble more often than not.
NOTE: She's 10 years old at the show's start but is 14 or 15 by the end (show takes place over the 4 years of high school).
