Escape From Dusty Plain-Visual Novel-ADOLECENT BOY VOICE NEEDED!
Project Overview
Amelia is a worker at Dusty Plain. Every year, Queen Rei goes to a village, and steals all the children; when she has them, she enslaves, starves, and beats them. Night after night, Amelia and her friends try to escape to find their families, but to no avail, until the day they meet a night guard who is actually kind to the kids. He decides to help them escape and maybe even defeat the tyrant Queen!

Please know that I am not a professional programmer, but I will try to make this piece all that it should be. Also know that this project will take a LONG time to make, as Tyrano Builder isn't easy, and I'm aiming for perfection! If you do not get picked, let me assure you that new characters will be added to this all time! Thank you for auditioning. Please make sure you have a good microphone, and use a pop filter if necessary. Audition lines not final. Feel free to think outside of the box and have a good time!

Nate is Amelia's little brother. He's a bit of a jerk and a huge prankster, but he really does worry for his sister and his friends, and would do anything for them.
*The group just got back from a failed escape attempt, and Nate makes a sarcastic comment about it.*
So, escape plan 300 and whatever didn't work out?
*Nate meets Daisuke for the first time*
I don't trust you for a second. If you lay one finger on my sister I swear-
*Amelia attempts to tell him what happened the night before, (they get caught trying to escape) and he makes a joke about it.*
Ha! So basically what happens every night?

Voice: High Tone
Willow is only part of the team because she was nice to Amelia. She's very weak and shy, and talks very quietly. She only joins in on every escape plan because she's afraid of losing her friends.
*In the middle of an escape plan, asking if they really need to go through with this one.*
I don't know about this Amelia. This is the fourth time this month!
*A night guard grabbed her by the hood.*
EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
*Asking Amelia for help during work, since she can barley lift two bricks.*
Yeah...could you help me pick up these bricks?

Kiki is one of Amelia's friends who has been with her since the beginning. She's never really enjoyed the constant escape missions, but would do anything to find her family, since she can still slightly remember them. She's very kind and tries to be happy even in hers situation.
*First line of the novel! The group is in the middle of an escape, and she just wants to go back to her cabin.*
Are you sure we should be doing this Amelia?
*Amelia just got back from seeing the queen, and Kiki bombards her with questions, getting interrupted by her at the end. Feel free to add another "Wha-" at the end.*
Was she scary? What did she say? What did she look like? Do her eyes really glow red?
*Amelia just announced that the group will start working with Daisuke, and this is her reaction.*
But can we really trust him? Yeah he was nice to us once but...he still works for the queen.

Amelia is a huge tomboy and is very sarcastic. She has an extremely short temper, and can be a bit of a jerk sometimes, but it's her passion to help her friend's get home no matter what, and she's the mind behind all the escape plans. She is very kind to her friends, but she can get annoyed easily. (Will be played by me. Sorry!)
*Her brother Nate just made a sarcastic remark about all her escape plans failing, and this is her reaction.*
Shut the hell up you.
*Confronting Daisuke about not hurting her the night before.*
So...why didn't you smack us last night? Isn't that what you were trained to do? Why spare us? We're not any different from the other workers.
*Confronting Queen Rei-very upset*
It's not fair! We're just kids, we can't work like this! Why is this tower so important? Why can't you just hire construction workers instead of torturing children?!
Basic narrator character. This can be any gender, and any accent, but the voice should be relatively calm at all times.
All these lines are basically the "You just did this" kind of thing that you find in all visual novels.
You shine your flashlight in the guard's eyes and run.
You open your bag of mortar, Nate scoops some with his tool, and applies it to a brick.
The guard grabs Willow by her hood.

Voice: Medium Tone
Daisuke is a night guard for the queen, but fully remembers his family, and only works for her because he has no choice. He hates how the workers are treated and tries to be kind to them every chance he gets. When he meets Amelia, he's inspired by her confidence and decides to help her.
*Decides not to hurt the kids trying to escape.*
Listen, I'm not exactly qualified to deal with this. So how about I walk you back to your cabin, we forget all about this, and I won't tell the queen!
*This is everything he's been bottling up inside for years that he could never say out loud, and finally gets the chance to tell Amelia.*
Because I hate what she does to you! It's torture! And the weak ones just get murdered? It's horrible! *sigh* I was thirteen when they brought me here. I still completely remembered my family. They tried to make me forget but, I just couldn't! I went through everything that you did Amelia. I know the fear of knowing that your weaker friends are going to be killed, and that one day you'll have to hurt little kids. The idea of it makes me sick. That's why I didn't hurt you.
*Meeting Nate for the first time, who tells him that he doesn't trust him*
*chuckle* It's okay. I understand why you wouldn't trust me Nate. But, I hope we can be friends?
