【ENGLISH FANDUB】BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Band Stories [Poppin' Party]

Project Overview

♥ ABOUT ♥

Hello! My name is Jill and I'm hoping to be able to fandub the entirety of the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! Band stories since those are really fun to read and I'm going to go in the order of Poppin' Party, Afterglow, Pastel ✽ Palettes, Roselia, and Hello Happy World!

For this Casting Call, I and my fellow co-director Plum will be casting for the roles of the Poppin' Party Girls which include, Kasumi Toyama, Tae Hanazono, Arisa Ichigaya, Saya Yamabuki, and Rimi Ushigome! We're shooting to get the Poppin' Party stories done in about two months! Once we're halfway or 75% of the way done with the Poppin' Party stories, we will open up auditions for Afterglow! (Note: Only one VA will have one role, in other words, we won't be multicasting)  

For Poppin' Party, there is about 20-30 stories each averaging at about 5 minutes long. 

We'd like to also say, for future references, Plum will be voicing Aya from Pastel ✽ Palettes and I will be voicing Maya from Pastel ✽ Palettes as well!

♥ AUDITION REQUIREMENTS ♥

- Your mic must be of decent quality! We will not accept Tonor/Laptop/Phone/Headset/and Webcam mics! 

- For your auditions we'd appreciate if you were try to minimize echo, background noise, and static as much as possible! 

- We'd also like for you to state the type of mic you are using!

- You must also have a Discord! I will be making a server particularly for this project and having everyone on a server will help keep everything organized.

- You must also be committed to this project! We will be expecting full dedication, since this will take a while.

- The last thing we'd like to ask from all of you is to try your best and have fun! This project is just for fun and we would like everyone to have a great time!

She is highly active and always positive girl. Since she entered high school, she's been searching for something sparkling that could make her heart flutter. Along the way, she encountered a girl with a bright red star-shaped guitar, and since then, it's become her dream to form a girl band. She has a younger sister in her family of 4, but it's not exactly clear who acts like the elder.

Kasumi is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Poppin' Party! 

We are looking for a medium-high voice!

  • (excited) I can't wait for today's practice! We're gonna try that song from yesterday, right?

  • (panicking_ Ahhh! I completely forgot about the math test!

She started playing the guitar in elementary school, and is very skilled at it. As a huge lover of music, she started working part-time at a live house upon entering high school. Her favorite item is her blue guitar that she bought using money that she saved. A natural airhead who lives at her own pace, she sometimes surprises the people around her with her unexpected moves. She lives with her parents and 20 rabbits.

Tae is one of the guitarists of Poppin' Party!

  • (stern) Kasumi, you know the retake for the math test is after school right?

  • (happy) Spending the night at school sounds pretty fun actually.

  • (determined) There's lots of pressure, but we won't give in.

Her family runs a pawnshop called "Ryuuseidou". Being in indoor person, her hobbies include tending for bonsai plants and internet surfing. Even though she's basically a shut-in, she still manages to achieve excellent results in school. Because her sharp tongue, she often gets into arguments with others, especially Kasumi, but it's usually because she is unable to be honest with herself. She started learning the piano when she was young, but gave up on it halfway.

Arisa is the keyboardist of Poppin' Party!

We're looking for a high-medium voice!

-note she is a Tsundere-

  • (cocky) Are you kidding? We'll make this the best festival anyone's ever seen.

  • (annoyed) Ugh! Get off Kasumi! You're way too close!

  • (comforting) Stop crying. There's plenty of festivals out there.

She became good friends with her classmate Kasumi during the high school entrance ceremony, and since then they often eat their bentos together. A kind person who cares deeply about her friends, she often lends an ear to Kasumi. She is also a filial girl, helping out at her family's bakery, Yamabuki Bakery, even during the school term. She has a younger brother and sister. She apparently used to play in a girls' band when she was still in middle school, but now...

Saya is the drummer for Poppin' Party!

  • (thinking) Hmm...Something to cheer Kasumi up....Well there's a festival going on.

  • (slightly disappointed) If there's no budget this year, then there probably won't be next year, no. 

  • (happy) You know, there's no stopping her now.

During their high school entrance ceremony, she heard Kasumi's intro that was filled with boundless optimism, and this sparked her interest in Kasumi. Even though she wants to change her cowardly and shy personality, she has been unable to do anything about it. The pink bass that she uses is a hand-me-down from her elder sister Yuri, who is 2 years older than her and studies at the same high school. She is a huge fan of Yamabuki Bakery, and especially loves their chocolate cornet.

Rimi is the bassist for Poppin' Party!

  • (longing) I wish I could be like her some day...But that day's still very far away..
