Edith Webcomic Dub Chapters 1-3
Project Overview
Edith is a Webcomic published on Webtoons telling the story of a young author, Edith, who is just trying her hardest to find the right guy in her screwed up world.

She has not had much luck with the guys, not being able to actually tell them her feelings being the biggest issue. But it all of a sudden takes a change when she meets an old crush once again as well as a new friendly face!
This will be posted in an episodic format onto my channel and will be updated alongside the comic. Permission to dub was given by the creator.
The voice talent I'm looking for requires:
- The usual shebang: Decent Mic and setup (or at least make it sound better than it is)
- The ability to clean up your own audio to a reasonable degree (Basic noise removal)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to show great degrees of emotion, these characters go through a lot
- Discord (Optional but a huge plus)
Take as many reads on the lines as you would like, I am looking for emotion more than anything here, really sell yourself as the character.

Edith is a 24 year old author who is living alone in her apartment. She is the main so she will have quite a lot of lines
As a person she is strong and independent, but she is starting to get very lonely as the story picks up and these emotions need to be expressed well. There are scenes that range from her crying, to yelling and this needs to be done well.
You can take it one of two ways here, or both I honestly don't mind, she could either be a medium to medium low voiced more mature woman, or she could have a bit of a higher and more girlish voice. Either would fit!
I always seem to fall for the guys I hardly knew, huh? Jack, Tyler, Kkkkkris??, Boba shop guy, can't remember the rest. (Reminiscent and trying her hardest to remember but eventually gives up near the end)
What a cute coffee shop! Jesse would suggest some hip place like this! (Surprised and excited to hang out with some friends)
"Aw I missed you too" Liar. She gave me thirty minutes. Is that all I'm worth to her?! A half an hour of a hang out... Jessica talking about her boyfriend...Makes me feel even more alone. (She has just been blown off by her, more or less, only friend after not seeing her in a long time. Understandably she is a little upset and is sobbing by her door)

Jessica is Edith's best, and possibly only real, friend. She begins this chapter with inviting her out for coffee but having to leave early which really hurts Edith, but she has no idea.
She would have a more mature Medium low voice
Now tell me, how is all the writing coming along? I read your last piece you wrote and absolutely adored it! (Catching up with Edith after not talking for a long time, excited to see her)
But now the REAL question. Is there a man in your life? Or perhaps men? (Questioning Edith on her dating life)
Your "prince" might be a little different than what you imagined. (Trying to tell he to expand her boundaries in dating)

He doesn't have quite to many lines in the start, he has one longer scene during chapter 2 for this part but that is pretty much it, but he grows into a much larger character down the road.
Jack is the Childhood crush that Edith had that has come suddenly back into her life. He is a very sweet and happy go lucky guy who has a part time job to make money while he is in college.
He would have a medium pitched upbeat sounding voice.
EDEN! ....... Oh sorry! I meant Edith! (Excited to see her after so long, but gets her name wrong instantly)
That's right! We went to junior high together! You remembered me! (Very surprised and happy that she was able to remember him)
Well I guess I should get going, it was great seeing you again! (Saying his goodbye to Edith, who really wants to ask for his number but just can't)

There are a few more characters here that do not show up at all outside this set of chapters, or ever outside a certain few panels. I need some guys and gals to fill those roles in for me!
I will be taking 2 guys and 2 girls on as extras and each will be paid accordingly, and if any character becomes reoccurring as the series updates then their pay will be changed
Male Audition: I wonder, what's a gorgeous girl like you, doing sitting here all alone? (Some sleazeball that tries to make a move on Edith at a bar, not the friendly type)
Female Audition: Go on, I'll find someone else to keep me company. I know you want to be mister prince charming (Woman who also happens to be at the bar with Philip, the other love interest, urging him to help out Edith, possibly just a medium low more smooth voice for her)
