To be honest, recording quality's not an issue for me. If you want to edit your lines to give me your best takes, that's completely fine. Bloopers would be acceptable as well, though, as they are fun to listen through.

Role: The Doctor
Appearances: All Episodes (Will Continue for Season 5, Season 6, Season 7 and Season 8)
The Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey, who travels throughout time and space in his TARDIS. This version of the Doctor is older and wiser, but still maintains that childish wonder from all across his life. He also doesn't suffer fools gladly, and if he sees something he doesn't like, he will tell someone. That said, he still does act like a loving father figure to his companions.

Oh. Older. Much older. Grey hair. Right down to the roots, it appears. As for the physiognomy. Well, nothing's perfect. Have to take the rough with the smooth. Mind you, I think the eyebrows are a definite improvement. As for the nose... well, I'm not too sure.
Hello. I'm the Doctor, this is Kira, Daisy and Damien. Could you put the guns down?
No, she's another human being. Other human beings deserve respect, don't they?
Role: Companion
Appearances: Episodes 4-8
Madeleine Bordeaux is a young peasant girl from France in 1558. She joins in the Doctor's adventures after being effectively disowned by her parents. She struggles to open up and is rather timid when we meet her, but she starts to come out of her shell during her adventures with the Doctor, and starts to learn more about who she is in this confusing universe.

No, I can't go back. I don't want to go back to them.
Okay, sorry Pierre, I've got to go! I love you! Bye!
No. But he hoped that I could maybe have a better life with you. I'd have nothing to worry about with you. I'd be free.
Role: Supporting Reoccurring
Appearances: Episode 3, Episode 5, Episode 7-8 (May return in future seasons)
Kate Stewart is an operative working for the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce (UNIT). She's working her way up the ladder in the organisation, and is after her cousin's job as Commander-in-chief. She is sarky, sarcastic, but practical and caring.
Kate is also a character pulled from the original TV show. I recommend watching at least a little of this video for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rmL64cPFzo

Yes, why haven't you done that already, Cameron?
Kate Stewart. Operative of the United Nations Intelligence Taskforce. We're here to give you a job.

Now, I can't say I don't disagree with Grace's suspicions. Who are you people? Do you have anything to do with Mr Scott and Penny's disappearance?
You? Are you sure you can handle the trip? Physically, I mean.
A pity he seems to share their impulsiveness, or he would not have gotten himself into this mess.
Role: Supporting Character
Appearance: Episode 2
Lucy is a maid working for a rich family at Loch Lomond in 1876. Before this, Lucy and her adoptive daughter, Grace, had lost their homes and were struggling to survive until they found Thomas Scott. Lucy, her current situation, is confused and scared, not knowing what the heck she's supposed to do.

She is not well, but once this mess has been sorted, I'm sure she will be fine.
Yes. And I'm Lucy. We came here together two years ago. Not that we had many other options. No money, no home.
She came into my care when I was 15. That was twelve years ago. Since then, I've been working myself to the bone to keep her alive. Believe it or not, this has been our best job.
Role: Supporting Character
Appearances: Episode 2
Grace is a young maid working for a rich family at Loch Lomond in 1876. Grace and her adoptive mother, Lucy, were left without a home and tried finding ways to survive before they were found by Thomas Scott. Grace spends most of the episode in a hysterical state, having found a talisman that she believes to be some sort of powerful witchcraft.

Where are Mr Scott and Penny? What have you done to them with your bubbling water, and you demon from the depths?!
I saw it, glistening in the sunlight, abandoned. I picked it up, and I saw things.
Then the water started bubbling, and then the demon from hell rose up from it, and I ran.
Role: Side Character
Appearance: Episode 2
Penny is a maid working for a rich family in Loch Lomond in 1876. Penny does not have a massive role to play, but in the time we have with her she is shown to be intelligent and snarky.

Nae, as it happens, I can't. I think we have a problem.
A question for someone else, perhaps.
Ten minutes ago. Grace was the first to see it. Terrified her, the poor lass. I told her to go to bed. She'll be fine in the morning.
Role: Supporting Character
Appearances: Episode 4-5 (May return at some point)
Pierre Bordeaux is the older brother to Madeleine Bordeaux, a peasant from 1558. As he wasn't there during her argument with their parents, he doesn't know why Madeleine ran away. He is way more supportive for Madeleine than their parents are, choosing to be caring rather than hateful, and encourages his sister to go with the Doctor.

What? How is this my fault?! You were standing in front of the door!
Madeleine! Where on earth do you think you've been? I've been worried sick about you!
Looking for you, what do you think? Father's somewhere on the other side of the city. Come on, let's go find him to show him you're okay!
Role: Supporting Character, Historical Figure
Appearance: Episode 4-5
Mary Queen of Scots, at this point in her life, is living in France, about to be married to the Dauphin (Heir) Francis. She acts quite like you'd expect of a member of the royal family at the time, but she has some instances of empathy and understanding of other people, and is also a bit of a fighter (probably more than she did when she was alive).

Madeleine, could you go to the church and see if everything is prepared for the wedding?
Don't worry. I'll try not to take it personally. I'll see if I can steal some of Francis' clothes. I'm sure he won't mind.
What does that mean? What are you going to do to me? Answer me! I am the Queen of Scotland! I order you to answer me.
Role: Supporting Character, Historical Figure
Appearance: Episode 4-5
Francis was the heir to the throne of France in 1558, about to be married to Mary Queen of Scots. He seems to be timid and unwilling to go through with the marriage, but must bow to whatever his father, Henri II, says. Though, towards the end of the story, he comes into his own a little, and has a hero moment.

Yes, as you always say, but something about it just doesn't feel right. I mean, I love Mary, but she does not feel the same way. She'll tell you this myself.
As soon as we came back in, I saw him go to the wine cellar.
They can't do that. No one would want to be like them.
Role: Supporting Character, Historical Figure
Appearance: Episode 4-5
Henri II was the king of France in 1558, and is currently about to witness his son Francis marry Mary Queen of Scots. He fits the stereotype of what you would expect a King of France to be like at the time, acting like a pompous and irritable old man trying to make things go his way - only for things to become more out of this world than he would understand.

Francis, the Scottish Kingdom is in a period of Reformation. Because that boneheaded English King turned his back on the Catholic Church, the idea of Protestantism has spread uncontrollably, and they are starting to turn against us. Your marriage to Mary is our best way to keep our alliance going.
We cannot lose our greatest allies to England. We simply cannot! If you can't do this for yourself, do it for the kingdom. For the country.
I suppose that egotistical fool expects us to feed him after the stunt he pulled outside. But I refuse to give MY food to someone that thinks he's above the king! Where is he, anyway?
Role: Side Character
Appearance: Episode 4
Marie Bordeaux is the mother of Pierre and Madeleine Bordeaux. She is a very strict traditional person, and is not accepting of change - which is why she causes her daughter to run away when she opens up to her and her husband.

Sebastien, if she was going to come back, she would have done so already. I don't know why you should care after what happened last night.
It doesn't matter. I don't want her here anyway. In fact, I think the only person that really does is you.
She's no daughter of mine, now. She barely qualifies to be a lady! How old is she now? Twelve? Thirteen?
Role: Supporting Character
Appearance: Episode 6
Derek is a photographer and videographer. His journey begins when he investigates the forests of Greencastle, Pennsylvania after children start going missing. There, he discovers the Slenderman. He tries to go to the police, but having lost the evidence, they won't believe him. He has to turn to the Doctor for help to retrieve the evidence and stop the monster in his town.

Now, I've heard something in the forest behind my house recently, I think something's down here and killing the wildlife or something, and apparently children have gone missing back here. I'm recording this so I have some evidence to give to the cops if something happens, and so they don't think it's me. But hopefully nothing does happen.
It's a guy in a suit? But he's really tall, and... Does he have a face?
I don't know what the hell it was, but I definitely saw it.
Role: Antagonistic Supporting Character
Appearance: Episode 7-8 (May return in spin-off content)
Alex Sargeant is a Captain in the International Intelligence Agency (IIA) gone rogue. He lost his daughter to a car crash a long time ago, and the guilt has driven him insane. He has spent his life since trying to find some sort of power that he can use to bring her back - and he thinks he may have just found it.

The way I see it, Commander, once we get our hands on that power source, it doesn't matter what we do to this old thing. Besides, I never liked it anyway.
You really think you're in a position to give orders, old man?!
Doctor. Fifteen years. You haven't changed much, have you?
Role: Antagonistic Supporting Character
Appearance: Episode 7-8
Llewellyn Norris is a commander working for the International Intelligence Agency (IIA) and good friend of Captain Sargeant. He has gone along with the captain's rogue mission in the support of his friend, but he has many doubts about the mission they are taking.
No, sir. Our cloaking devices are at full capacity. They'll never see us coming.
Sir, if I may, why have we run the ship aground? How are we supposed to get her out of that?
Yes. Thankfully, I brought spare tracks and spare wheels. But considering the weather, it'll take a while.
