Doctor Who: Alien Matters
Project Overview
My name is Jacob, and I am currently writing, directing and editing my own Doctor Who story.
Here is the plot:
The Doctor and Clara have landed in the suburban fringe of the New York metropolis. Only a few moments after their coming, they are forced to scarper through the streets, away from gangsters wielding highly anachronistic weaponry. The travellers soon land into the custody of the police, whom they offer to aid in uncovering the truth behind a succession of kidnappings, strongly suspected to be the doing of the gangsters. What possible epiphanies can a scorch mark provide? One that an abnormal alien presence is nearby, recruiting societal scum to serve their demented purpose…
This production has already cast 11 actors, and is lead by Jonathon Carley (aka DoctorTripod on YouTube), who is an acclaimed impressionist.
Nobody will be receiving an income from this production, not even myself.

A police captain. He is a calm and mature man, except his mind is generally more grounded in a world that’s not as open to absurd possibilities, such as aliens operating on Earth.
It's no problem, Marshall. What I'm wondering about is why you need four fully-armed police squads to investigate this building. Did you finally manage to catch the Marchiones in the act? Even for them, surely this is a bit much?
The Marchione brothers are much milder versions of the young suave 1950’s Italian-American gangster image. The way that they speak and act doesn’t ooze a seductive and cocky demeanour – Daniel and Robert just happen to be 1950’s gangsters with New York accents. Apart from that, they act with a focused drive and professional demeanour in completing tasks for Stanrosa (which itself gives a sense of coldness in how efficient they are at what they do). The confidence vibe they give off is mainly from their shady calmness, not from deliberately trying to be cool. They only have an undertone of suaveness to soften and balance their determined edge.
Daniel and Robert Marchione are not twins, but are brothers in their late 20’s to early 30’s born 1-2 years apart – Daniel is the younger one who’s a tad more mercurial and emotive, and Robert is of the course the older one, who’s a bit more authoritative, calm and placid than Daniel.
It’s just that we don’t want another ruined one. We’ve had our heads on the chopping block enough times already!
When we were going around, right, searching for more people….we found two people walking in the streets. An old guy, and a young girl. We were chasing them into a park, where we lost them. Then the cops came.
In his only scene, Officer Matthews displays a professional sense of concern for 2 police officers who have not reported back to base following their patrol shift, like they were meant to. I say professional because obviously he isn’t moaning in despair or crying, he is just desperate out of his own duty.
That two-man patrol sent out earlier this evening. Clements and White. Have you heard anything from them? They were meant to report to me once they had finished, but their shift ended an hour ago.
In his only scene (also with Officer Matthews) Officer Nolan isn’t a person who is a careless slack-shit towards those around him, but simply one who calmly holds trust in the capabilities of others, and thinks that most worry is irrational, and nothing more.
I'm sure they're fine, Roger. They're big boys! They can take care of themselves!
A police officer who’s searching for the Doctor and Clara.
They're either hiding, or they've done a runner.
Oy! Hey! You two! Come out now, and put your hands above your heads!
