Dew Surfers Short: Splash is Unfunny
Project Overview
This is a small, around 7 second short with two characters of mine, from my world of Dew Surfers, which is essentially about a small group of cats known as Surfers, living together on a tropical island!
When this project is completed it'll go on my YouTube channel alongside my other Dew Surfers content! And the animation of the short shouldn't take long to produce, two weeks at the maximum.

I'm onto the rough animation phase for Splash which is near finished and I'll be working on that and hopefully a bit of Shark today!

Shark only has one line, but it's the primary one in the animation. He's a quiet type and pessimistic with a dark, or miserable outlook on life a lot of the time. Here he's giving his line in a "gloomy" or "dark" manner, as though he's raining on Splash's parade. This is also simple, I'll likely pick the best audition for the short and let you know, and I will credit you by the name you want to go by in the end, as well as a link to your site/platform if you want!
Be sure to record the line twice!!

Splash doesn't exactly have any word lines, but in the short he's in the middle of laughing- probably after his own joke, seeing Shark's following line. He's a go-getter and incredibly fun with a bright scope on life. Here he's giving his laugh in an "upbeat" or "cheery" tone, as of genuinely amused by whatever he said prior to this! This is also simple, I'll likely pick the best audition for the short and let you know, and I will credit you by the name you want to go by in the end, as well as a link to your site/platform if you want!
