Project Overview
Derik's World Adventure (Working Title)
In the year 25XX, exists a world much different than ours with several continents ranging from areas in from our real world and fantasy worlds, in these worlds are hundreds of heroes to protect each of the worlds from evil.
This story follows 'Derik Gonzalez', a 15-Year-old boy who discovers he is the son of two heroes from a long family lineage of heroes called the “World Warriors”, who are the heroic guardians of the World/Universe. After the loss of Derik's parents and after discovering his Powers and family's lineage, Derik and his friends explore the world to master their abilities to protect their world from Sir. Mavaldo and the Mavaldo Tribe and live up to his long family's legacy.
Here are the rules to audition:
- You must have a great quality microphone (Audio clips with too much background noise and static will not be accepted)
- You must have an easy and reliable way for me to contact you and send files. (Skype and Discord to be exact) (Note: You MUST be frequently active in order for this method of contact to work)
- Always stay in character, it is very important to stay true to the character's voices.
- Please post contact information along with your audition (If you get accepted, and you fail to return my message within 20 days, you will not be able to voice for this project)

Derik (Temp Name)
A 14-year-old socially awkward Puerto-Rican/American high schooler, with seemingly nothing special about him. He is revealed to be the son of two heroes from a long history of heroes called the “World Warriors”, he is the 9th hero in his family's lineage. With this power, he is tasked with defeating the series Antagonist "Sir Mavaldo", and save the world from his tyranny, while also managing his real-life at the same time.
Personality: Kind-Hearted, Selfless, Strategically Smart, Book Smart, Socially Awkward/Idiotic, Ambivert, occasionally self-doubtful, Fearless (When things get serious), determined, Comical.

(exhausted, just came into class from a fight) *heavy breathing* Hey Teach, Sorry I'm late. Oh, ignore the bruise on my arm- WHAT FIGHT?! *awkward pause* He heh heh... Sorry, just a reflex.
(Thunder Powers becoming active after his friends get hurt) You hurt my friends, and now I'm gonna hurt you. (Spanish) Trueno~... EXPLOSIÓN!!!!! (Translation: Thunder Blast)
Ryo
A Talking Shiba Inu/Husky hybrid who can shape-shift between Anthro and normal animal anatomies. He originates from an entire secret area of the earth where talking Anthropomorphic/Feral animals and was being hunted down by the military for scientific and paranormal research, and genetic mutations. He then proceeded to encounter Derik in the woods one night, and even saved him from a warrior from the "Mavaldo tribe". He and Derik eventually become close friends and fight alongside each other.
On top of being able to communicate with animals, he is also an experienced swordsman and martial artist. He also contains special skills relating to him being a dog, such as a Shock wave he can perform by growling and barking loudly, and his claws which he can use for combat.
Personality: Upbeat, Positive, Loyal, Kind-Hearted, Protective, Slightly Flamboyant, Nervous, Comical, A little Emotional, Intelligent, Careful Planner, Voice of Reason.

(Calm/Joyful tone) Name's Ryo. I'm the dog you encountered in the forest last night. It's a good thing I saved you when I did. Heh Heh!
Lorra C.
She is a martial artist with a love for art, ever since she was young, she's loved both things. Unfortunately, because of certain circumstances, she was falsely accused of the "disappearance" of her mother and other relatives and is classified as a wanted criminal, with everyone turning on her seeing her as nothing more than a heartless monster. All except for Derik, who was the first person to show her kindness and respect after that incident. The two befriend each other and become a team to fight against the Mavaldo tribe.
She's kinda the straight woman to the team and is usually rebates the others for their stupid decisions. Despite being kind-hearted, she's not afraid of being a "tough cookie" with her close friends. Outside her friend group, she's very socially awkward and tends to say stupid stuff when nervous. She also is well versed in her paint/art-based powers, and she can kick ass when things get rough.
Personality: Sweet, Socially Awkward, Motherly, Creative, Intelligent, Sassy, Tomboyish, Assertive, and Aggressive.
Voice: Feel free to give your own take on the character. (If you'd like an idea of what I had in mind, I say a mix of Katara's voice from Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Nami's English voice from One Piece)

(Annoyed) Derik! Stop being an Idiot! This is serious. (Switches to Serious) At this rate, Mavaldo and the others are gonna take control of Location 52.
Terry
Terry can be best summed up as a “Gentle Giant”. He’s an anthropomorphic Grizzly bear with an intimidating appearance but with a heart of pure gold, as he’s very shy, and cowardly. Being considered an outcast amongst most animals in the wild for his soft personality, being the only talking anthropomorphic animal in his homeland, and being born with a transforming tail (One that can switch from a Bears tail to an Alligators Tail). He started to open up after meeting Derik and Ryo, even eventually helping them on one of their missions, and even becoming a part of the team as their Tech expert and Ryo’s Boyfriend.
Personality: Shy/Bashful, Sweet, Lazy, Sensitive. Cowardly, Smart, Tech Savy, and Loving
Voice: I'm thinking of a mix of Ron Funches’s King Shark from Harley Quinn and his Normal voice with a very hint of Filipino (If that makes sense). Though feel free to give your own take on the character

[Terry is talking to Ryo for the first time, Ryo is acting friendly to him, while Terry is a nervous wreck overthinking everything] This guy... actually wants to be... friends with me? I-it doesn't make sense, I'm a monster. He's probably just lying... unless [Terry actually starts to think he's actually being sincere] *quiet gasp* He's.... he's telling the truth, he r-really wants to be friends with me.
Hanna
The older sister to Derik, who was separated from her brother at a young age and was taken in by the military as a new recruit. She eventually reunites with Derik years later, before eventually becoming a part of the main cast upon finding out more of the “World Warriors” and Derik being the new hero. She is very supportive of him and his friends, and willing to fight alongside her younger brother. She is very tomboyish and rebellious, and being in the military gave her a more aggressive personality to contrast her bother, yet still some of his personality traits. She is very protective of Derik, willing to give up her own life to save him in a heartbeat.

Sir Mavaldo
King of Darkness, and the most powerful human in the universe. (His origins and motives will be explained in the future). The leader of the Mavaldo tribe, the one who is serious about taking over the universe and will silence anybody who gets in his way. His goal is to kill Derik, which will allow him to steal the “World Warriors” power for himself to maximize his strength to eventually destroy the universe and reconstruct it to his own image where he is in 100% control.
Personality: Harsh, Brutal, Mean-Spirited, Power Hungry, Threatening, Sarcastic, Demanding, Calm, Quiet, and VERY PSYCHOPATHIC!

Jake W. (Alter-Ego: Jet-Warlord)
He's a local bully in Derik's hometown with an obsession of getting strong and tough to gain the approval of those around him, mainly his Parents. But after losing to Derik in a fight, he becomes EVEN MORE obsessed with getting stronger, and eventually joins the "Malavdo-tribe" as a new recruit with his alter-ego “Jet-Warlord” but makes it clear that he's only joining for getting stronger, not to help Sir Mavaldo with his evil plans, as he “doesn’t care about that”. Despite Jakes's sour feelings for Derik at the beginning, he still maintains respect for him and eventually sees him as a worthy opponent/rival once both gain their powers and they find out their true identities later on.
Personality: hard-headed, rebellious, a bit egotistical, cocky, A bit Soft/Sensitive, Ashamed of his Soft side, self-conscious, Ambitious and dedicated to becoming a stronger and better person, “Brawn over Brain” mentality, Straight man to the “BS” around him.
Voice Impression: You can give your own take on the character if you want. If you'd like an idea of how I visioned his voice, I say a slight mix of Mao Mao's voice from Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart and Sanji's English voice from One Piece.

Sgt. E.L.I (Pronunciation: Sergeant E-Lie)
Sergeant of the Mavaldo Tribe, and right-hand man to Mavaldo. He’s primarily serious being the one to give the orders, and overall having a similar personality to Sir. Mavaldo, except he's much calmer and nonchalant in comparison, but still has his non-sensitive, sarcastic, and murderous moments here and there. But does have his goofy moments 5% of the time.
Voice - Try to replicate a mix of J Michael Tatum‘s Dororo voice from the Funimation Dub of Sgt. Frog and Chris Sabat’s Zoro voice from the English dub of One Piece

Jackie
A servant under Sir Mavaldo, acting as a bodyguard of sorts and head martial artist of the tribe, being a bit of an opposite to Lorra mainly focused on order instead of creativity. Much like E.L.I she’s serious yet goofy at many points, and more times than not is spent eyeing on pretty guys instead of taking her job seriously, yet still manages to get the job done without getting in trouble for the most part. She’s also very deceiving, more times than not getting away with stuff due to her looks and emotional manipulation, and is skilled with acrobatics and sneak attacking.
Voice – a mix of Eda's Voice from Owl House and Rouge the Bat from Sonic X (4Kids Dub) Feel free to give your own taker on the character.
