Project Overview

Welcome to the Monarch Killing Game of Class 3B.

Daichi Matsuoka is a new transfer student to Hope's Peak Academy after the destruction of Team Danganronpa in V3 - the class of forgotten Ultimates, Class 3B, waits for him! He's ready to make new friends, study hard, and improve his talent...maybe one day, he'll really embody his Ultimate Track and Field Star title. Finally, the Killing Games are over, and he can embrace his prodigial nature...

However, the mysterious, sudden suicide of their teacher sparks something much more devious. Maybe despair still lives on. Maybe Danganronpa has found a way to survive its own destruction. Between a mechanical, monochrome cat and a cult of deranged killers, there's only one option: play along.

  • This is a fan project for the Danganronpa franchise. Not a fangame, but an audio/voice project. Please keep this in mind.

  • This is an NC-17 project. There will be talk of sexual themes, cursing, crime, and heavy violence/gore. Please keep this in mind. I will not accept auditions from anyone under 16.

  • Once payment is available, we'll also be requesting the help of artists.

  • I will provide my Discord details to anyone who makes the cut.

  • Please have a decent microphone, or solid audio quality.

    We're almost at one hundred auditions in less than a month -- that's CRAZY! Thank you so much for putting faith in our wonderful project; it means the world to me and everyone else on the team!   • We've Got A New Look! + Audition Updates

    Check out our awesome new logo! No longer do we have to stare at that poorly photoshopped cover; no, now we look legit! We're working our way towards true Danganronpa aesthetics! Also, as an update on auditions, we'd like to thank you for the massive amount of support that we've received over the past two weeks; it's been mindblowing! The audition process has been going great, characters have been developed further, and scripts are already in progress! We may have to start casting once exams are finished around here; but who knows? That's yet to come! Again, cheers for all the support, and we hope to see you in class soon!   • Deadline Was Pushed!

    Because of final exams, I've been meaning to push the deadline forward - so here we go! The deadline is now July 16th, but I have no worries that we'll get plenty more interest before then! Thank you, and Giver bless!

Daichi Matsuoka, the Ultimate Track and Field Star!

Though he's clutzy and easily-trusting, Daichi is a logical powerhouse, and the MKG protagonist. Incredibly sheepish about his tendency to trip over his own feet, he doesn't think he deserves the talent he has, and considers himself to just be your typical average Joe. He enters as a new transfer student to Hope's Peak Academy's 3B class, but little does he know that there's more in store than just a chance to find himself...

When voicing him, consider protagonists from all three Danganronpa games! He's meant to be voiced by a male, but his tone is higher and slightly more effeminate.  Consider Naegi's voice from the first game! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Minato Honda, the Ultimate Playwright!

Minato is the closest someone can get to a silver-screen diva without actually being an actor. Her works are well-known throughout the theatre industry, and for that, she's become a huge perfectionist. Everything needs to be exactly as she plans, or things are destined to go wrong. Despite her uptight nature, however, she remains good-hearted and willing to bring justice alongside Daichi, even if she's risking her own life...

When voicing her, make it snotty! Her voice is slightly nasal in tone, and she speaks incredibly clearly, as most stage directors tend to do.  Don't be afraid to snap at other characters; it's what she's best at! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Yukio Kisaragi, the Ultimate Archer!

Yukio gets shit done. Growing up with both Japanese and Brazilian ancestry, he was raised in a long line of woodworkers, refining his talents as a fletcher before pursuing archery full-time. He's determined and strong-willed, bordering on impulsive and stubborn - he won't stop trying until he finally gets what he deserves. Whether it's money in his pocket, or the lives of his peers, he'll make sure he gets it...

When voicing him, it's up to you how you interpret him! I tend to think of Kuzuryuu when he speaks; his voice is boyish and slightly high-pitched, and he typically sounds frustrated due to constant stress around him. However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Sachiko Minami, the Ultimate Firebreather!

Sachiko barely ever speaks. She hates drawing attention to her mask by speaking, since beneath that, there's a plethora of burn scars for people to gawk and laugh at. Her shyness is only contrasted by her skills, but she'll push her fear of speaking aside to assist during a trial. Her intentions may seem dubious due to her lack of speech, but she's gentle when she's dealing with others, especially Susume, her best friend.

When voicing her, surprise me! Even if she doesn't speak much, I want the times she speaks to be interesting and special. Her voice is high-pitched and dainty, despite her rough and somewhat scary appearance. However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Tetsuo Aizawa, the Ultimate Journalist!

Tetsuo would much rather be a poet than a journalist, if he's being honest. A hopeless romantic who finds the good in anyone, he often lets his heart get the better of him - sometimes, it even throws off his logic. He makes an effort to bring any criminal to justice, but he doesn't want to admit that he's just a bumbling dumbass who's easily scared. However, he tries his best! He'll do anything to help the good in others prevail.

When voicing him, dorkiness is key! Literally, voice him any way you want, so long as you make him sound like a total nerd. Stutter when you're nervous! Make sure that he sounds genuine when he gets flustered! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Susume Suzuki, the Ultimate Stop-Motion Animator!

Susume is the more motherly out of all the girls involved in the Monarch Killing Game, and she prides herself on taking care of those in need. Her eye for detail is honed constantly (it needs to be, in order to ensure smooth animation) and she's incredibly observant, often being the first to snap a picture of the crime scene when a body has been discovered. She dotes on Sachiko, and would do anything to protect her...

When voicing her, it's up to interpretation! Voice her any which way; our local goth mom supreme is completely open to the player who wants to work with her. A raspy voice is preferred, but not fully required! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Yosuke is your typical "get rekt", "tubular" skater boy - always in good spirits and considering himself the group's big brother, he's pretty much the life of the class. A jokester at heart, he has a smile on every second of every day, but a toxic relationship with his childhood friend has put a damper on his mental health. However, no one can tell! With all his positivity and cheer, he could never be hiding anything...right?

When voicing him, make him a real bro! He's peppy, athletic, and definitely a jock, so don't be afraid to make him seem ditzy and dumb. His voice is medium-pitched - not high, but not freakishly deep, so play on that! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Anastasia Toyama, the Ultimate Impersonator!

An exchange student from a foreign country, Anastasia's known for her insane vocal range. Constantly amused by everything, she enjoys mimicking friends, and can talk any man's ear off if he's not careful! Squeamish and weak-stomached, just the sight of blood makes her faint or vomit; a pretty useless trait for a killing game, but she was never meant for it. No one in this damn class was meant for it...and yet here they are.

When voicing her, remember that she's a vocal impersonator! Her range is dangerously wide, and she can do a plethora of accents, but usually, she either has an American or Russian accent by default. However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Figurines, trading cards, plushies, books - you name it, Yurika probably has the rarest of them in her bedroom. Not quite a NEET, but definitely not a social person, you can catch her making decks or reading manga by her lonesome, but don't expect her to speak much! Paranoia gets the better of her in crowds, and she's always fearing the idea of being sought by some unspeakable evil. Paranoia, and something else...

When voicing her, keep her pitch in mind! Her voice is high-pitched and she tends to stutter, similar to Mikan from SDR2. Whining and squeaking is also very common for poor Yurika, since she's so damn nervous. However, aside from that, it's up to you!

The one thing that Daeja finds himself called a lot is "creepy". A puppeteer who's famous for his experience with marionettes, he considers one to be a "daughter" of sorts - a young doll named Marie, who he carries around everywhere. Many question if he sleeps with her; many question if he sleeps at all. He has good intentions, but it seems that his eccentric nature can throw off even the strongest individuals...

When voicing him, make it creepy! Frighten me! His voice is low and raspy, like any other eerie, frightening character - however, he's oddly calm, so try not to be incredibly manaical. He's a good boy, after all! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Proud of his eccentric sense of style and his ostentatious, extravagant designs, he prepares clothes for plays, concerts, fairs; you name it. He's kind and warm-hearted, always putting thoughts of his family first, but his cold, manipulative inner nature only shows when something is dangerously wrong...

When voicing him, keep it lowkey! Aizen is incredibly cool and collected, so his voice is low and smooth to listen to. He's pleasant to listen to; I picture his voice to somewhat resemble Rantaro's from V3. However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Neru Okami, the Ultimate Contortionist!

The only thing intimidating about Neru (other than her ability to bend herself into impossible shapes) is her temper. Often annoyed and reserved, she doesn't take kindly to others wasting her time or pushing all of her buttons - though she looks harmless, she can definitely rip someone apart if they try her patience. Though she's a loyal companion and an adventurous soul, she has plenty of skeletons in the closet...

When voicing her, don't be afraid to be vulgar! Neru probably curses the most out of everyone in the cast, and her role contains plenty of heavy content, so be prepared to voice some pretty cruel insults now and again! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Hideki, point blank, has a massive stick up his ass. While his professional training in classical music may have paid off in the end, the amount of stress dropped on him by his craft is enough to make any man go mad with rage. He doesn't like to be disturbed, convinced that time alone is the perfect way to remove him from his artistic block, but sometimes, that sort of severe isolation can go to your head...

When voicing him, make him super posh! I can accept any kind of accent for Hideki; however, out of the whole cast, his voice is the deepest, so try to play on that! Just make him sound like a totally uptight asshole. However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Though she's cute as a button and playful to the core, there's another side of her that not many people tend to notice at first...

When voicing her, make her sound young! She's your stereotypical "little girl" character, like Saionji from Super Danganronpa 2, so have her reflect that! She also loves to mock the other Ultimates, so be careful! However, aside from that, it's up to you!

Guess who's the Monokuma figure? That's right. Moneko. The robotic cat that's styled in the form of a very familiar dumbass bear. Think of Faulerro's Monokuma voice from Danganronpa Abridged - that's pretty much exactly what I'm thinkin' of. Otherwise, it's open to interpretation!
