(D&D) Mercury Theatre Podcast episode 003
Project Overview
Hey guys! Mercury Theatre Podcast - an Audio Drama Podcast - is auditioning for episode 003. It is based around characters who are playing D&D when the game takes an unexpected turn. Character voices encouraged. I'm even going to leave some creative license, so you can fill the role as you think best. Additional roles may appear on this project, so keep an eye out.
Recording for this episode will take place Saturday, October 3rd at 6pm eastern (NYC) via Discord. If either the timing or source do not work for you, please do not apply, as I want only available talent cast.
I look forward to hearing your auditions, and hopefully working with you.

The DM is ill-equipped for this game, and unsure about how the game is supposed to be played, without his/her campaign information in front of them. Not their best day.
I don’t know. I swear every forest looks the same. But, yeah. We need to get out of here. I can guarantee standing here won’t get us anywhere. Literally.
Okay. So, roll for perception.
You ready for this? The woods are clearing, and there’s the town over a hill right over there.
Always charging the team ahead into their next activity. Enthralled by the world they accidentally moved into. Perpetually excited.
If you cannot choose a character (or if it conflicts with storyline), one will be assigned to you, to fit the scenario.
Feel free to add text to your audition as to what you'd like to be.
If you have a specific character class you'd like to be considered as, feel free to add it in the description with your audition, and it will be taken into consideration.
Am I the only one who’s creeped out by this whole thing?
Okay. Fine. Can we at least get a pint or something at a tavern somewhere? Does this place at least look like the scenario you made
(matter of factly) A Hamlet is a bigger than a village, but smaller than a town.
The group pessimist. Just wants to go home. Afraid they’ll die at every turn, but fears wandering this world alone even more.
If you have a specific character class you'd like to submit this as for consideration, feel free to add that in the description with the audition.
Well excuse me! I didn’t realize I needed a conversion chart when I got kidnapped by a game!
I don’t know about you guys, but I can only see hammocks and a fire.
Right. Let’s head out. Do we have anything here we need to take,
Strong, headstrong, and argumentative.
If you would like to submit this as a particular character class for consideration, feel free to mention it in the notes alongside your audition.
Well, that is less than helpful.
Uh, yeah lady. Let's see what you've got.
Have you not figured out all his scenarios start in the tavern?
Caravan Lady (often referred to as a gypsy).
NOTE: Can be recorded prior to the October 3rd record.
Hello weary travelers! Would you care for some wares?
