A 19-year-old princess with a bubbly and sweet exterior, though she can be fiercely firm when the situation demands it. Chalice has a knack for manipulating situations, such as using her royal status to her advantage but only ever does so when desperately needed. She absolutely enjoys doing so, but knows it’s a ‘emergency only’ sort of thing, so it’s rarely used. Her favorite color is teal or mint, and she loves the wonderfully prepared meal her servants make,  lobster risotto. She has a deep fear of failure (Atychiphobia), due to the pressure of protecting her kingdom on her own, and since she has no parents, she feels like the weight of the world is on her shoulders. With Pearl tea or champagne in her head, she sometimes acts more formal around others but can be playful and silly with only her close friends, especially Cuphead, Mugman, and Yunomi. She will never act like a damsel in distress, and stands up for what she believes is right, especially if it’s protecting her friends as well.

Chalice has a sweet, compassionate female voice. She’s young, so she is full of spirit, but can be equally serious and firm as an adult when needed to be. She sounds friendly overall, but will not hesitate to sound like a demanding scary princess if she has to, haha.

Cuphead is a 19 years old, confident, reckless, and always looking for a fight kind of young man. He loves to brag about his achievements and battle prowess, often teasing others, especially his brother Mugman, but underneath his bravado lies a deep insecurity about being seen as a fool. It’s almost a fear. He dislikes being belittled or put down, and occasionally acts on impulse from his own emotions, which is what often gets him into battles. Though lazy and sometimes dismissive of responsibilities, Cuphead is brave and extremely loyal to his friends, including his own brother, Princess Chalice, and Yunomi even. His favorite color is blood red. Haha, I wonder why… He is fond of sandwiches(or pizza) and is seen with Mabon Mead in his head always, as for he likes the actual taste of it and also, thinks it’s a ‘mature’ way of making himself seem to be. What he attempts to do a lot, is show off, if you could not tell.

Cuphead’s voice is pretty much a protagonist stereotype one of which that is full of adventure, wonder and just a touch of overconfidence and smugness. He has slight rasp, able to sound dangerously mischievous when he gets into battles. But overall, his voice is average and again, like his brother, he is young so not so low would be nice.

He is a shy, scaredy-cat circumspect 19-year-old royal guard who’s protective and loyal to his friends, especially his twin brother Cuphead, Princess Chalice, and Yunomi. Though often timid, he has a strong sense of responsibility and maturity, which contrasts him well against his reckless and daring brother. He enjoys writing, particularly romance and historical stories with his own characters and even characters based on real people that he’s seen. Later on in the story, he begins to write about the adventures the trio has together. And even though he keeps them to himself, Cuphead often tries to make him show others, boasting about is brother’s writing skills or teasing him about it too. Later in the story, he begins developing an interest in potion-making, encouraged by Chalice to ‘protect’ himself better, as he needs a form of protection rather than just being the Royal Poet. Mugman also sews and often doodles in his spare time. His favorite color is royal blue, and he loves nature and healthy foods, such as salads.

Mugman has a soft, average male voice. Most of the time, he sounds hesitant or cautious, but with his brother or later on with Chalice, he sounds more calm and comfortable. He can make jokes by being snarky or sarcastic, mainly only toward bis brother. He’s polite and respectful, bur he occasionally fumbles over his own words when encountering royalty. He is young, so he does not have that much of a low voice. It’s definitely less low than Cuphead’s.

A firm, grounded, and dutiful 20-year-old captain. An unwavering pillar of discipline within Poculum’s fading guard, Terra is a terracotta cup forged through pressure and responsibility. She speaks plainly, wastes no time, and holds others—especially those she deems reckless, like Cuphead—to strict standards. Terra values effort over status and action over empty words, believing respect must be earned, not given. Though she often comes across as cold or unyielding, her leadership is rooted in quiet loyalty and a deep, unshakable sense of justice. Beneath her hardened exterior lies a buried warmth, shown only in rare, subtle ways to those who prove themselves worthy of her trust. She is strict about almost everything that relates to Royal guard duty, taking her job very seriously.

Terra has a firm, steady voice with a noticeable Spanish accent. Her tone is direct and no-nonsense, often carrying a grounded authority that doesn’t need to be loud to command attention. She speaks with confidence and precision, rarely wavering, though in quieter moments a softer, more human warmth can slip through. She is a side character, but she appears a lot in Chapter 1 sort of! I really like her character.

A towering and battle-hardened guard-in-training, Gorelle is a cracked, heavy-built mug known for his brute strength and blunt attitude. He’s rough around the edges, quick to mock rookies, like Cuphead, and carries himself with a loud, confident presence that can be just as intimidating as it is grounding. Despite his gruff nature, Gorelle takes his role seriously—valuing discipline, endurance, and proving one’s worth through action rather than words. He respects strength, but not arrogance, and while he often gives Cuphead a hard time, it comes from a place of testing rather than cruelty. Beneath the tough exterior, Gorelle is dependable in a fight and fiercely loyal to his fellow guards, standing firm like a wall when it matters most. Hence the nickname other Royal Guards have him.

Gorelle has a deep, rough, and slightly gravelly voice, carrying a natural weight that makes everything he says sound grounded and solid. His tone is often teasing or blunt, with a hint of a cocky edge, but can quickly turn serious and commanding in battle. Another side character, but he is probably the smallest character in this series as he probably will only appear in Chapter 1 and a FEW appearances in other Chapters later on. I’m not sure. Still want a VA for this one though, ofc. And the lines below I think are..actually all of them?? There may be like one or two more in the actual chapter… Omg, I dunno.

A sharp-tongued and exacting elder of the royal court, Professor Wyrde presides over Poculum’s poets with an almost surgical precision. Thin, composed, and perpetually unimpressed, he treats language as both an art and a discipline—one that must be refined, corrected, and, if necessary, torn apart. Wyrde has little patience for mediocrity or overindulgence, often cutting down his students’ work with biting remarks that sting more than they soothe. Despite his harsh methods, he possesses a deep understanding of rhythm, structure, and emotional restraint, pushing his poets to find strength in control rather than chaos. Beneath his cold critique lies a quiet dedication to preserving the integrity of written art—though whether he teaches to inspire or to perfect remains unclear. He sometimes rhymes with his own wording, as he has done poetry for so long, it stuck with him naturally. His name is pronounced like “Word”, hehe.

Wyrde has a thin, precise, and slightly raspy voice, with a refined, almost brittle quality. He speaks slowly and deliberately, each word carefully chosen and often laced with dry sarcasm or quiet condescension. His tone rarely rises, but his disapproval is unmistakable. Another very small character like Gorelle. Though I really like his character and I think I’ll definitely make more scenes with him!
