Project Overview

Candy Sweet Dreams is a 7-episode long animation series. It focuses on Hans, a toymaker, Spirit, his magical friend, and the two toys that Spirit gives life--Poppet and Tock--which Spirit and Hans must now raise as their own. The style is pseudo-anime with soft colors and themes of friendship, family, and finding the magic in everyday life. 

Additional casting will be done after episode 2 for side characters.

    Sorry for the late update! Christmas and New Years was a bit hectic and I'm still trying my best to catch up. 

    The main four have been cast! 

    I cannot express how thankful I am to everyone who auditioned--you have all been amazing and so supportive. 

    If you weren't cast, but would still like to be a part of this project, stick around! 

    After episode 2 is halfway completed I will be setting up the casting for the remaining side characters (of which there are 6). 

    I plan to start animating in February, so look forward to it.

    Casting for Spirit is now closed. Thank you to everyone who auditioned! 

    The deadline noted here is the last one--I won't be extending it anymore. 

    If you've been waiting for a chance to jump in, now is the time to do so!

    The voice actor I cast for Spirit's role opted out. I've re-opened the part. 

    Considering how many people have auditioned, I am leaving the part open until December ends, where I will cast from there.

    My internet has not been working but for brief moments so I apologize for the delays in updates. Poppet and Spirit have now been cast! Thank you to everyone who auditioned for Spirit's role and for everyone who has shown support for this project! 

    Tock and Hans still need finalized casting (one person has auditioned for both roles and I don't want to put that kind of strain on anyone) before I can start the series proper. 

    If my internet stays on long enough after I publish this update, I will extend the deadline again--just so that it doesn't interfere with anyone's holiday.
