Project Overview
Call Me Now is inspired/based on the time I spent working for a psychic hotline. It follows Antje (who is talked into working for a psychic hotline by her best friend), and her what it's it's like for her dealing with callers along with friends and acquaintences when they learn what she does.

(semi-apologetic) I followed you. (pauses) Look, I just wanted to apologize. I was only joking.
I am going to need a number of people for these roles - young adults and up, both genders, all sexulaities. (The lines provided above are from actual conversations I had while working for the psychic line). There are three options to auditioning for these parts.
1. Read one (or more) of the lines above for your audition
2. Let me know where I can find your demo reel.
3. Come up with your own audition of what you would say if you were calling a psychic line.
(Caller #1 - Female)
(upset/lonely/just done with everything) I just gave birth to twins and had the nurse throw my husband and best friend out of my room. They admitted, while I was in labor, that they were having an affair. He said the he didn't want to be alone after I die. Couldn't even wait...
(Caller #2 - gay guy)
(upbeat) So, I was wanting to get back together with my boyfriend and then I met this other guy and we started hanging out and one thing let to another. Anyway, this new guy met my ex and now they are seeing each other. Am I going to end up with either one of them?
(either gender)
Can I talk to the lady from the commercial?
Antje is pretty good at putting her foot in her mouth and she leans toward the sarcastic side.
(annoyed bordering on angry)...and just when did you plan on telling me? After we had gotten married and decided to have kids?
(doubtful)I seriously doubt working as a phone psychic is going to give me my big break in Hollywood.
(confused) You lost me.
(trying to be convincing)It's part of the entertainment industry. You would be working in entertainment.
(later in the conversation above - revealing her psychic name) Lady Celestia. It sounds rather mystical, don't you think?
(upset/angry)He lied to me! Well, maybe it wasn't straight out lying but he certainly didn't share major information
(annoyed)When our son was born, he was...darker skinned than I expected.
(upset/angry)The baby was black! Somehow in the three years we've been together Levi didn't bother to share that he was half black! He said it never came up! Imagine my surprise after giving birth.
Levi's motto is: I didn't lie. I just didn't tell you anything important. It's not like it's important
(surprised/shocked) You have thought about marrying me?
(defensive) It shouldn't matter!
