NARNIA -- "The Magician's Nephew" -- Chapter 1! (Digory still needed!)
Project Overview
Hi everyone, I've been re-reading "The Magician's Nephew" (book 6 in the Chronicles of Narnia) and I thought it would be really fun to do as an audiobook! For now, I'm just starting with chapter 1. (It would be great to complete the entire book, but I'm not too worried about it. Let's just take it one chapter at a time.)

The primary characters have British accents. (If we get into later chapters, there are characters without one.) So please be able to do a decent English accent!

(The children accidently come into his study; he locks the door.) There! Now my fool of a sister can't get at you! (It was dreadfully unlike anything a grown-up would be expected to do.)
(trying to sound sincere and sweet; hiding ulterior motives) Not a green one (ring), I'm afraid I can't give the green ones away. But I'd be delighted to give you any of the yellow ones: with my love. Come and try one on.

Hullo... Polly. What's yours?... I say, what a funny name! (read Digory's part for context)
(After being rude to him, Polly finds out Digory's mother is dying) (humbly) I didn't know, I'm sorry.
Is Mr. Ketterly really mad?? ... What sort of things does he try to say? ... How exciting! I never knew your house was so interesting.
Hullo, What's your name? ... Digory... It isn't half so funny as Polly. (read Polly's part for context)
Alright, I have then (--said Digory in a much louder voice, like a boy who was so miserable that he didn't care who knew he had been crying.) And so would you, if you'd lived all your life in the country and had a pony, and a river at the bottom of the garden, and then been brought to live in a beastly Hole like this.
You may think it interesting, But you wouldn't like it if you had to sleep there. How would you like to lie awake listening for Uncle Andrew's step to come creeping along the passage to your room? And he has such awful eyes.
