Bloody Instructions

Bloody Instructions

Project Overview

The city of Paliano is quickly descending into political chaos. Meanwhile, the goblins Grenzo and Daretti have plans to cause chaos of a different kind.

As Wizards of the Coast continues to release their weekly Magic Story updates, it is our goal on the Voice of All podcast to bring these stories to life through audio.

The Take the Crown storyline has begun and revolution is on its way! While we have Grenzo from a past story, we need a Daretti and all the supporting cast as well. You can check out the story for this week here:

If you're interested in hearing our past works, you can listen to all of them here:

We are looking to keep up with the release of Wizards' stories as best as possible and will release our version the following Friday, so expect to be cast this week and have your lines to me within a few days.

Daretti is a goblin artificer of surprising intellect, talent, and ambition. From an early age, his goal in life was both simple and audacious: to become a master artificer at the Academy in the High City of Paliano. He rose through the ranks, evoking the gossip of the city’s mage elite. Soon gossip turned to irritation, and later, to outright disdain. While Fiora is a plane of cunning and shadowy games, it was not their plotting that led to his downfall, but a malfunction of Daretti’s own experiments.

One of Daretti’s cogwork constructs exploded, apparently killing him. The explosion ignited Daretti’s Planeswalker's spark, and he planeswalked to relative safety. Although he escaped with his life, the accident was not without cost, leaving Daretti without the use of his legs. As a true artificer, he built himself an elaborate cogwork rig that assisted him in movement and in continuing his experiments in artifice.

He has now returned to Fiora to take revenge on those who wronged him in the past, with the help of Grenzo and an army of disenfranchised goblins. Daretti has appeared before and will likely appear again in the future. Should you accept this role, you will likely be asked to reprise it in the future.

  • Ha! Old man, do you know what this is? It's the blueprints for a cogwork sentry. One of the first of its kind, intended for municipal security. Look at these appendages, such a mess. The power requirements alone must have cost a small fortune. Garbage."

  • [he's forgotten the speech he prepared to read to Fimarell] "Grenzo, I don't. My mind is a blank. All that preparation for naught. We'll reseal the door, we'll drag the guards out, return the papers. I'll review and return tomorrow night."

  • "Do you recognize it? Do you recognize the handwriting? You criticized it. You criticized all my words, then took them as your own. You built your career on the back of my words. How dare you call us thieves, you sham!"
